The Emsland Group recently hosted an exclusive tour of its Kyritz plant as part of the EU Starch Value Chain Conference. Andre Heilemann welcomed 45 visitors and shared insights into the facility’s 150-year history. The tour showcased cutting-edge production, including a state-of-the-art evaporation plant and potato washing unit. Through strategic investments, the historic factory now leverages advanced technology. Visitors also learned about our commitment to eco-friendly practices, where every part of the raw materials is used sustainably — repurposing potato fibers and using fruit and process water in agriculture. We are proud to highlight how our focus on innovation and sustainability drives progress in the starch industry, maintaining a balance between tradition and future-forward solutions. #emslandgroup #usingnaturetocreate

32 employees from Emlichheim are celebrating their 25th, 35th and even 45th year with the Emsland Group! 🎉 Last week, we took this special opportunity to honor our long-standing colleagues. They were invited for a celebratory gathering at a local restaurant. After a warm welcome from management, thanking them for their loyalty and commitment, a ceremony took place where the honorees received a certificate. A big thank you to our anniversary celebrants for your loyalty and the many years we've shared together! We're proud to have you in our team. #emslandgroup #usingnaturetocreate #anniversary #team #thankyou

At the Emsland Group, we're committed to innovative water management that benefits both our environment and our community. As outlined in our latest Sustainability Report, our approach focuses on supporting sponge-like landscapes that store and manage water more effectively, keeping it within regional cycles and supporting future growing seasons. 💧 Today's Water Path: Agriculture drives production, with water purified and drained into rivers towards the North Sea. 🌱 Tomorrow's Water Path: We're working towards reusing production water locally for irrigation, enhancing water security and strengthening ecosystems. Let’s pave the way for a future where water that originates from the region, stays in the region.
