𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗮: 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🤝 For more than 20 years, the IT service provider Konica Minolta Business Solutions Deutschland GmbH has handed over receivables to EOS in Germany. 🌍 𝗘𝗢𝗦 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 🌍 We are pleased to inform you that we have published our second combined annual and sustainability report of the EOS Group. The sustainability section sets out everything we have achieved in the last financial year in the area of corporate responsibility and provides a comprehensive picture of our sustainability strategy and packages of measures. In particular, we are proud of our excellent #ESG risk rating. The renowned rating agency Morningstar Sustainalytics placed us among the top three companies in the Consumer Finance sector. "Achieving a top position straight away proves that our corporate responsibility strategy is a success," explains Marwin Ramcke, CEO of the EOS Group. Our commitment to sustainability is also reflected in initiatives such as our #GenderPayGap analysis, which allows us to compare the salaries of men and women. In addition, we have collected data on our greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 and 2) for the first time as a basis to derive concrete measures for #EmissionReduction. Besides all this, responsible debt collection and sustainable debt relief for defaulting consumers are at the heart of our work. In the past financial year, we successfully settled more than five million cases, helped defaulting consumers and returned around 1.9 billion euros to the economic cycle. 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘆 We all know the problem with highly complex IT, as it is needed almost everywhere today: if you buy "off the shelf", you make a lot of compromises because it is not customized enough. If you develop in-house, there is a risk of costs exploding, it often takes too long to develop and there may be a lot of “teething troubles” that you can avoid by buying established systems.   At EOS, however, we took a chance: 18 years ago, a small, capable team around Cristi Musat in Romania developed debt collection software that was in the long run to be rolled out to the entire EOS Group in the best case. In the beginning and for quite some time, the software was used locally only. The team continually improved it and processed new requirements which kept coming in from the EOS world. As a result this software became exactly what we needed here at EOS.   While improving, we started a conscious roll out internationally. Gradually, new colleagues from other countries joined the Kollecto+-team, implemented it in other companies and helped develop the software. Today, 10 of our more than 20 companies are using it – and this year three more will join the “Kollecto+-Party”.   So, what is the secret of this success-story in my eyes? 📣 We have heard it countless time and it is true: start quickly. Don't turn the big wheel straight away, but develop in an agile way. This is how we learn and how we improve a product with the aim of rolling it out on a larger scale at some point. 📣  One of the milestones was to expand the team at the right time: More and more smart minds can make a meaningful contribution. We have created a think tank, particularly at international level, that achieves incredibly good results today. 📣 Perfectionism is an obstacle. It should be put aside for the time being when tackling a complex topic. We are looking back on a successful financial year 2023/4, despite difficult economic times. In our latest article, the Board of Directors analyzes the 2023/24 financial year across the Group and looks at the regions.   Here are some key findings:   💡 The EOS Group achieved a very good result in the challenging 2023/24 financial year. 💡 With a share of 41.9 percent in overall revenue, Eastern Europe is the strongest performing region within the EOS Group 💡 Revenue in the region of Western Europe increased the most compared to the other regions of the EOS Group (6.9 percent in all). 💡 On the German market, the EOS Group recorded no changes compared to the previous year. 📢 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗢𝗦 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽   Despite macroeconomic challenges such as rising interest rates and high inflation, the EOS Group achieves the second-highest result in its 50-year history.   “While the uncertain macroeconomic times are bound to persist, we have nevertheless made dealing with uncertainty at a professional level our strength and are focused on achieving the best solutions for our customers,” evaluates Marwin Ramcke, CEO of the EOS Group.   However, the Group not only stood out with strong business figures in the past financial year.
