💡 ERCO's Lighting Workshop 💡 We recently hosted an engaging workshop where ERCO experts Richard Fisher and Matthew Cobham led insightful sessions on exhibition lighting. Attendees explored the vocabulary of light, participated in hands-on demos with optics, and deepened their understanding of color perception. Held at the Cradle of Aviation Museum—an ERCO project—participants also had the opportunity to experience the museum’s re-lighting, highlighting our fixtures, wireless controls, and tailored solutions. WARREN AND MAHONEY's new Sydney studio, located in Sydney’s vibrant, historic, city-side hotspot Tallawoladah, The Rocks, has been designed to enable their people to thrive, host, showcase creativity, and express their values and culture of working together. Collaborating closely with the design team, Jadecross was able to deliver a lighting approach which is both minimalist and flexible for the various applications the studio is used for. Delicately enhancing the key heritage features including the sandstone walls and steel columns, there were also ripple metal wall panels scattered throughout which create a scenic element across the timber floors. We’re thrilled to be the cover story for designing lighting Oct/Nov issue, “The Wright Lighting,” showcasing our work at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in collaboration with Reed Burkett Lighting Design. ✨ The museum, dedicated to Long Island’s rich aviation history, needed a lighting transformation. The previous theatrical fixtures created operational challenges, with frequent outages, glare, and energy inefficiencies that impacted the visitor experience. Our renovation, in partnership with Reed Burkett, focused on enhancing visual quality, reducing glare, and creating dynamic storytelling moments for key exhibits. The result? Victoria Cross Metro Station 31 metres below ground level lies the new addition of a metro station at Victoria Cross, serving a very real need to service Sydney’s growing population requirements. Cox Architecture were commissioned by Lendlease to complete the architecture, interiors and graphic design for the project. Taking on the epic task, COX have transformed what might be considered quite a utilitarian project, into an engaging architectural jewel, hidden beneath Sydney’s North. Experts in their field, FPOV provided an innovative lighting solution for the new Metro Station combining our Xero Linear Lighting Systems , ERCO and Coolon LED Lighting luminaires.
