With an operating range of 175km using the battery cells that are currently in production, the Lilium Jet aims to offer the widest range within the electric aviation industry.     As battery technology improves, we expect to double that range within the next 7 years, allowing us to substantially expand the radius of our everyday lives via sustainable air mobility.     Our battery cells are produced by our partner CustomCells in Germany, with InoBat as a second supplier to strengthen our supply chain. 🔎 Today, Germany's politics, industry and energy sector take a look at thermal energy storage at the status conference of BVES Energy Storage Systems Association in Berlin. Our co-founder Susanne König gave input about solid state materials storages and how they are used in the food, chemical or steel industry. On the conference we talk about chances and hurdles for the core of the energy transition, which is process heat in industries. As German engineers, we think that the groundbreaking innovations we develop, should play a big role in our home market as well. And the political framework accelerated during the last two years.
