The first vessel in our CSOV ‘Elevation Series’ has been successfully launched in the water in Vietnam! 🎉 Damen is building the series of 6 vessels in Halong shipbuilding. This state-of-the-art 87-meter ship is designed specifically for offshore wind farm maintenance. It features Damen’s DPX drive for best-in-class DP performance. 🤩 Unser Netzanbindungsprojekt Ostwind 2 vor der Küste Rügens geht in die letzte Phase: Aus Projektentwicklung und -umsetzung werden jetzt Betriebsführung und Wartungsroutine.    ⚡ Bereits jetzt speisen wir über unsere See- und Landkabel große Mengen Offshore-Grünstrom in das 50Hertz-Netz ein. Mit der Installation der letzten von insgesamt 50 Vestas-Turbinen durch Iberdrola Deutschland ist die vollständige Inbetriebnahme in Sicht. Für die Arbeiten sind große Schwimmkräne und das Versorgungsschiff Edda Nordri vor Ort unterwegs.     💡 Unsere Techniker sind bereits jetzt regelmäßig im Einsatz, um den Zustand der elektrotechnischen Anlagen vor Ort auf der gemeinsam genutzten Offshore-Umspannplattform zu überwachen. Für die Überfahrt vom Hafen Sassnitz nutzen sie u. a. unsere Hydrocat 55: die erste Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) in der Offshoreindustrie, die hybrid mit einem Gemisch aus Wasserstoff und Diesel angetrieben werden kann und somit CO2-Emissionen einspart.     📺 Bei einer Ausfahrt mit unseren Elektroingenieuren Marcus Köckritz und Marjan Ugrinovski hat uns das Nordmagazin des Norddeutscher Rundfunk begleitet. .... nach getaner Arbeit, mal schnell zum Retter werden. Ende gut - alles gut.   Wenn man denkt, das alle Segler unsere CTV's ( Crew transfer vessels ) immer freundlich grüßen, weitgefehlt... EINIGE übertreiben es mit dem Winken.   Aber Spaß beiseite, hier wurde ein havarierter Segler in den Hafen nach Klintholm geschleppt. Wir haben die Familie in sichere Gewässer begleitet. So konnte der Eigner dann alles mit dem Hafenmeister besprechen und die defekte Maschine wieder instand setzen lassen.   HILFSBEREITSCHAFT wird groß geschrieben, nicht nur im eigenen Team. "you help where you can" 👍 Another event to praise the excellent cooperation between EnBW, the FRS fleet and the entire team of BATIC2 technicians.

#Windcat34 is extended version of MK 3.2. This modification of design gave to the vessel more cargo space. 49 m2 of deck space allowed to take more cargo for the offshore turbines.
