About us

We are a class leading wind farm vessel support operator, operating internationally out of Cowes, UK, with a fleet of fourteen IACS classified multi-purpose offshore energy support vessels. Each vessel is purpose designed and constructed to conduct safe, fast, comfortable transport and transfer of personnel and equipment in the toughest of marine environments. Our company works directly with developers, utilities, manufacturers and support services businesses to provide fast and efficient offshore personnel and equipment transfers for a range of customers. We pride ourselves in being a respected vessel operator and are consistent in our commitment to maintaining the highest possible safety standards, listening to our customers, co-operating with our competitors, keeping in front of developments and incentivising our employees, while acting consultatively for the global offshore wind sector.

  • Seacat Services operate a fleet of multi purpose Offshore Energy Support Vessels and are looking for additional fleet service engineers and electrical engineers to join the team. Experience in a previous Marine Engineering role, working with diesel engines, water-jets, hydraulics and similar is preferred, but we would also be very interested in hearing from those with experience in Marine Electrical systems working as an Electrical Engineer. The work is carried out on a fifteen day on thirteen day off rotational basis. This position involves attending the vessels across the UK and Europe, so you can expect to be away for the full rotation.   • Seacat Services operate a fleet of IACS classified multi-purpose offshore energy support vessels and are looking for an additional Vessel Superintendent to join the team. As a Vessel Superintendent, you are responsible for the smooth delivery of charters across a group of vessels within our fleet, this requires working with our crews, vessels and customers to ensure a safe and effective service is supplied. The Vessel Superintendent role is a full time (not rotation) position and involves regular travel to site to inspect vessels and to meet with the crew and customers.  Occasional visits to the office in Cowes are also required from time to time. Ideally, you will hold a CoC (min MCA Master 200gt) or be close to being issued with one, preferably with experience in the role of Master in the offshore wind industry.   This is an exciting and varied role. Salary dependent on experience and qualifications held. Responsibilities include:  Providing support to our crew in their daily operation:  Ensuring vessels are fully certified according to statutory requirements  Overseeing vessel performance Liaising with charterers/customers  Overseeing the delivery of the training and familiarisation of our crew to ensure working within the safe capabilities of the vessel Supporting the technical department & vessel in maintenance to minimise downtime Follow-up on KPIs  Mobilising vessels to new contracts Provide support 24/7 to our vessels and crew as required by being part of the ‘On-Call Person’ roster The ideal candidate will:  Be good at working within a team and motivating vessel crew  Be an excellent communicator  Be proactive, flexible and motivated to find solutions to emergent challenges Have experience in offshore renewables and smaller vessels Ideally hold seagoing experience as Deck Officer or Master in the windfarm industry Be able to travel to assigned vessels on regular basis  Have experience of working within the requirements of a Safety Management System Be familiar with working within ISO 9001, 14001 and/or 45001 environments https://lnkd.in/eK7Yxzjx
