🚢 This week from October 7th to 11th, we had an incredible training session at our company headquarters with our Chief Officers and Captains from across the fleet. The event brought together colleagues from various departments including TSIs/NSIs, Management, Crewing, Purchasing, Safety, Security, and the PMS Team. As part of the training, we had hands-on experience in the simulator at the MTC Training Center, which was a fantastic opportunity to enhance our skills. On top of the learning, we also made time for some fun: a bowling evening with participants and colleagues, followed by a wonderful group dinner on Thursday. It was a week full of learning, teamwork, and great memories! A team of "𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐀 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐬" had good reason to have a party at this year's "41𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐡𝐫𝐭𝐬𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚 2024". On board of the classic yawl "𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐯𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦ü𝐡𝐞", built in 1936, they crossed the finishing line as the third boat overall, clinched victory in the Classic Boats category and also secured first place in "Yardstick over all". That’s what you can achieve on an 88-year-old vessel with good maintenance and a motivated crew! Thanks a lot, to our skipper (and owner of “Peter von Seestermühe”) 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐡 𝐯𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐛𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐳 for getting us save and fast to Aero and back for so many years now!!!

Pre-Docking Inspection of our TSI and NSI on Crestline's vessel "Elizabeth" during the voyage from Dakar to Abidjan. In addition to the comprehensive nautical audit, various random drills like fire and abandon ship, as well as a rescue boat drill, were carried out during this visit. These drills were conducted to evaluate crew preparedness and equipment performance prior to the ship's planned arrival at port. The inspection is done to make sure safety standards are being followed and to pinpoint any areas that need special focus before the next class renewal period.

Our Hammonia 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 also receives a recommendation from the Liberian Registry. Further proof of our first-class technical management:

Over the weekend, we welcomed the arrival of 𝐂𝐌𝐀 𝐂𝐆𝐌 𝐎𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐚 for a brief visit at Hamburg's port. The CMA CGM Osaka is one of six vessels on the "Levant Express" route, making regular stops at the Euro Gate dock in Hamburg every 42 days. We are looking forward seeing her again the end of September.

To make sure that the high quality standards on our managed ships are upheld and to remain in constant communication with the crew, our superintendents occasionally visit the vessels and travel with them between ports. During this week, the 𝐂𝐌𝐀 𝐂𝐆𝐌 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐠 is currently en route to Singapore.
