🌟Gute Nachrichten 🌟 Wir freuen uns, dass wir durch den Beschluss des Senats unsere Forschung an neuen Katalysatoren für die Herstellung von grünem Wasserstoff vorantreiben können. Dünnschicht-Katalysatoren sind eine Schlüsseltechnologie: Sie sollen eine effiziente Umwandlung von chemischer in elektrische Energie und umgekehrt gewährleisten. Genau darum geht es bei der Forschung im Catlab, die wir gemeinsam mit dem Fritz-Haber-Institut der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft vorantreiben. Aus der Senats-Pressekonferenz: Mehr Forschung und Entwicklung in Adlershof. Der Senat hat in seiner heutigen Sitzung die Änderung im Bebauungsplan zum Ausbau und zur Nutzungserweiterung des Helmholtz-Zentrums Berlin für Materialien und Energie bestätigt. Ziel ist es, den Aufbau eines Katalyse-Forschungs- und Entwicklungszentrums in Adlershof, in direkter Nachbarschaft zum Elektronenspeicherring „Bessy II“ zu ermöglichen. In einem neuen Zentrum, dem sog. CatLab, das in drei bis vier Bauabschnitten errichtet wird, geht es um die Erforschung und Entwicklung von neuartigen Katalysatormaterialien. Diese sind insbesondere für die Erzeugung von grünem Wasserstoff für die Energiewende wichtig.
