Martin is currently pursuing a degree in Tourism and Event Management at Fachhochschule Dresden (FHD) - University of Applied Sciences . He has joined our Senior Eventmanager Sophia Glas, assisting her with various event management tasks both for us and our clients. Outside of his studies, Martin enjoys sports and relaxing with a good movie. Alongside Sophia he has already helped organize his first successful event for HTSB HighTech Startbahn – our Housewarming party, making our office move an unforgettable experience. The HighTech Startbahn supports startups in the high-tech field during the difficult post-formation phase by actively providing and arranging contacts to mentors, investors, industry partners and service providers. Beside event formats, its focus is to offer high-tech companies the opportunities to exchange experience and foster a lively start-up community as well as coaching & consultancy, fundraising and company building of these high-tech companies. We are delighted to officially introduce to you, our newest member of the HTSB HighTech Startbahn Family: Björn Erik Mai! 🥳 Björn Erik Mai holds a degree in process and energy engineering and brings extensive management experience in developing and launching innovative hardware technologies. After many years in various engineering and management positions in the electrolyzer and fuel cell business, he co-founded Senodis Technologies GmbH, a Fraunhofer spin-out, in 2018, serving as its CEO until the end of 2024. Currently, he supports various companies and startups as a senior advisor for product management and business development. He has joined HTSB HighTech Startbahn to assist the consulting team with its client projects and with exciting new initiatives in the pipeline - stay posted for more information! Björn is a father of three, engaged politically and with international youth exchange programs. What is the best place to kick off #2025? Can only be #Chemnitz, Europe´s Cultural Capital 2025 and Germany´s Cradle of #Engineering. We went there for our two-day workshop. Saxonia, Protector of #Industry and #Commerce, kept crumpy Karl Marx at bay. So we could work on our masterplan to 1. operationally support #founders reaching the next level. 2. match innovation-thirsty #corporates with exactly the right #startups. 3. pull off two stellar #HTVD events in Boston and in Dresden. HTVD as a Service. Before HTVD24 kicked off, we hosted an exclusive site event for co-pace GmbH. co-pace GmbH is the #Startup Organization and catalyst for new #technologies and business models with external partners at Continental. They were looking for #startups with #sensor #innovations, so we screened the landscape for them and finally invited eight companies to pitch and meet co-pace GmbH and Continental´s business experts and executives in a sheltered surrounding and familiar atmosphere. Now they are engaging in follow up talks and evaluations with those companies. We keep fingers crossed that there will be measurable outcomes.
