Our combined team of Lufthansa Cargo, Lufthansa Industry Solutions and Jettainer participated in the 10th anniversary of the IATA ONE Record Hackathon in Istanbul this weekend. The event, hosted by Turkish Cargo and Turkish Technology, brought together participants from around the world for a remarkable event with record-breaking participation! 🌍 Thanks to Andreas Baumann, Matthias Brinken, Yannick Y. Veith, Thomas Alba, Hendrik Gruber and Mansour Kohestani for the great team effort 👏💪. They worked on an ONE Record shipment tracking solution that included the ONE Record digital twin of a ULD for the first time ever. We are proud to announce that Jettainer has signed the IATA Digitalization Leadership Charter and is now an official member of the Digitalization Leadership Forum 🎉   The Digitalization Leadership Charter developed by IATA and the Cargo Advisory Council aims to drive innovation, increase efficiency and promote sustainable and consistent digital transformation. A central aspect is the introduction of the ONE Record standard, enabling efficient and transparent data exchange across the entire supply chain. As part of this, Jettainer will integrate its ULDs into ONE Record as a “Digital Twin”. Thank you for your interest in Jettainer's solutions. Your visit emphasised how important it is to discuss the future of logistics and transport.   The second day was characterised by the official handover of the CEO position. Dr. Jan-Wilhelm Breithaupt, our new CEO, took over from Thomas Sonntag in a ceremony that included press briefings and interviews and was rounded off with a delicious cake!   Both days were filled with engaging conversations with customers, potential clients and business partners. ✴ Today, at the Air Cargo China fair, we celebrated the official CEO handover at our booth. ✴ Since 1 June 2024, Dr. Jan-Wilhelm Breithaupt has been the new CEO of Jettainer. Alongside his predecessor, Thomas Sonntag, they discussed past and future developments of Jettainer. Dr. Jan-Wilhelm Breithaupt brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record in digitalization. He thanked Thomas Sonntag for his leadership since 2019 and announced: "With a great team and a worldwide network, Jettainer is very well positioned in the global market.
