Significant cost savings through optimized filtration solutions in pharmaceutical production In cleanroom applications, many of our customers are reluctant to change trusted filters due to possible contamination and impacts on employees, production processes, and products from insufficiently filtered air. A German pharmaceutical company thus continued to use air filters that had simply been reclassified from EN 779 to ISO 16890 using a comparison table. We therefore carried out an application analysis and filter optimization together. Despite 25 % higher filter costs, lower maintenance costs have been achieved, and the energy consumption of the ventilation system and therefore also the annual energy costs have been reduced. This has resulted in improved air quality thanks to correctly dimensioned filters. These impressive results clearly show that the investment in the new filtration solution has paid for itself in just a few weeks. He will also continue his responsibilities as Managing Director of our German entity and lead our internal Performance Office and Post Merger Integration activities. Push for European legislation on indoor air quality What has been standard for outdoor air quality with limit values for over 20 years thanks to the World Health Organization and the EU should now also be achieved for indoor air. To this end, Eurovent together with seven leading European associations, has drawn up a manifesto for clean indoor air quality and is calling on the EU Parliament to adopt European legislation with binding limit values. The aim: good indoor air quality must become a fundamental human right. As experts for air filters in ventilation and air conditioning systems, we support this initiative because the facts speak for themselves: ➡️We spend more than 90 % of our time indoors ➡️The air there is up to five times worse than outside ➡️According to the WHO, 154,000 people died prematurely in Europe in 2019 as a result of poor indoor air quality It's time to give indoor air quality the same attention as outdoor air quality. We received 58 beautiful artworks that now decorate our factory walls, showcasing the creativity of our young artists. 🎓 Education: every year we award scholarships to the top-performing students from local schools. These students also get a tour of our facility to show them the practical applications of their education. 🩸 Blood donation drive: we organized a blood donation drive with 29 donors.
