CMC Engineering Export GmbH visited BAU China in Shanghai! 🌏 Recently the BAU China exhibition was being held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai and our colleagues Alex Hong and Terry(Taiha) Kim from CMC Engineering Export GmbH-Korea Branch visited the exhibition to meet leading companies and business partners of the construction and building materials industry. The BAU China exhibition is an annual event in the construction and building materials industry, focusing on innovative solutions and sustainable development. The BAU China aims to promote high-quality, sustainable built environments and foster the exchange of ideas and solutions for the future of construction and brings together 500+ exhibitors from 16 countries. At the three-day exhibition, our colleagues from CMC Engineering had the opportunity to meet some business partners and companies and to discuss about upcoming projects. 🌏 Thanks to MR. Gianfranco Ferranti from GRAF SYNERGY S.R.L. for our deep dive into the current Korean window market. We serve the Korean windows & doors industry with advanced cutting, processing, and welding solutions as a total solution provider. The Korean window & door market is just one of the industries, where we are active as a total solution provider, supporting in the fields of sales, installation, training, after-sales, and spare parts support. 🌏 After several years of working together, we finally had the chance to meet Mr. Niccolò Ghirardini from 3C CLOMEA, a leading company in the field of bending machines. Recently the ITMA ASIA + CITME 2024 was being held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai and our colleague Terry(Taiha) Kim from CMC Engineering Export GmbH-Korea Branch visited the leading textile machinery exhibition in Asia. 🌏 The ITMA ASIA + CITME is an annual event for the global textile industry, bringing together 1,700+ exhibitors from 22 countries and regions representing their latest technological solutions, helping textile producers stay competitive and sustainable. This event combines the strengths of the globally renowned ITMA and China’s premier textile machinery exhibition, CITME. Our German principal Gneuss Kunststofftechnik GmbH participated at the exhibition besides exhibitors from China, Japan, Taiwan, Italy, and among other European countries. Yunlin International Agricultural Machinery and Materials Exhibition is organized by the government and various associations, with nearly all agricultural machinery brands participating each year. It attracts over 500,000 visitors, making it one of our key exhibitions. This year, Melchers Taiwan team introduced a brand-new STIHL arch as the main visual display, showcasing Stihl's complete range of products. We aim to help the public understand that STIHL is not just about chainsaws; we also offer high-quality machines like brush cutters and blowers. We also set up an experience area for chainsaws, allowing visitors to feel the outstanding performance of our chainsaws firsthand. The loud sound from our machines always drew a large crowd when we started them up! Through this event, we hope to increase STIHL's brand awareness and connect with more target audiences.

The next season is just around the corner: Highlights from the World Winter Sports (Beijing) Expo 2024 A Grand Showcase of the Ice and Snow Industry The World Winter Sports (Beijing) Expo 2024, held from October 11 to 13 at Shougang Park in Shijingshan, Beijing, was a resounding success. As the largest ice and snow industry exhibition globally, the expo focused on exploring global trends, showcasing leading products and technologies, and supporting the development of the ice and snow industry both in China and worldwide. This year, the expo saw participation from over 400 international ice and snow brands. Representatives from major international sports organizations and global ice and snow enterprise leaders gathered to discuss the future of the industry. A report released at the opening ceremony projected China’s ice and snow industry to reach $139 billion in 2024, with an expected breakthrough of $143 billion next year. Melchers and @Wintersteiger Group: A Strong Partnership in China For over 15 years, Melchers has been Wintersteiger’s partner in China, successfully selling and servicing Wintersteiger machines, which now hold an 80% market share in China. At the three-day exhibition, Melchers Wintersteiger team members Ines Daneke (MTE), Charley Li, and Victoria Li (both MIS), along with Lorenzo Tertan, Head of Sales Export from Wintersteiger, attended and showcased their products. Their booth, part of the Austria delegations group, won the best booth award and attracted significant media and customer interest. Melchers Techexport (MTE) product manager Ines Daneke participated in the Round-Table Dialogue of Endless Winter Passion—The Art of Keeping the Snow Spirit Alive, sharing insights on the challenges and plans for Wintersteiger products in the promising Chinese market. Technical sales manager Charley Li was also interviewed by local media, where he detailed the technical advantages of Wintersteiger machines. The team welcomed customers to their booth, strengthening bonds and showcasing Bootdoc insoles and Hotronic heating socks, which were introduced to the Chinese market in 2023. Professional Training and Customer Engagement Following the exhibition, from October 16 to 20, Wintersteiger Senior Engineer Mr. Christian Weber traveled to China for professional training sessions on Wintersteiger automatic and manual machines at BC Sport’s workshop in Chongli, Zhangjiakou. Key local customers were invited to participate in the training, where Christian and Charley combined theory with practice to enhance customers’ understanding of Wintersteiger machines. This training was a successful promotional activity for Wintersteiger products.
