Efficient ventilation solutions through life cycle cost analysis We replaced the outdated ventilation technology for an indoor swimming pool in North Rhine-Westphalia with a modern, energy-efficient solution. The old system worked without heat recovery and with outdated drive technology, which led to high operating costs. Together with the customer, we developed a system based on a life cycle cost analysis that represents the optimum solution in terms of both energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.   Measures at a glance  ✅ Relocation of the system The new system was designed for outdoor installation and mounted on a Bigfoot system provided by the customer. ✅ Compact design The system was supplied in a craneable transport unit to enable quick and uncomplicated installation. ✅ Efficient air performance With an air flow rate of 5,300 m³/h, the system ensures optimum ventilation.   The project shows how targeted modernisation can not only increase energy efficiency, but also cost-effectiveness. Precision and #teamwork: Successful installation of a Resolair ventilation system in Vienna   In summer, one of our high-performance #Resolair ventilation systems with an air flow rate of 3,600 m³/h was installed in Vienna. Equipped with a reinforced refrigeration system (R513A) for cooling and dehumidification as well as an integrated humidifier section, the system was delivered in six assembly units to precisely air-condition a residential building all year round.   The particular challenge was to transport the cubes, which were constructed with millimetre precision, into the basement via a lift so that they could be manoeuvred through narrow doors and around corners. Without lifting gear, the individual units had to be positioned on top of each other using only lifting straps and a great deal of manual dexterity. Our team of two technicians and regional managers Max Deckelmann (Sales) and Torsten Kempe (Service) were on hand to support the system manufacturer in setting up the Resolair. They also took care of the pipework and cabling. This is where Menerga comes into play! Our Drysolair system (3,500 m³/h) in the drying room ensures that the wetsuits are ready for use again in the shortest possible time. Last week, Frank Kowalczyk took us to the construction site so that we could see the progress of our Menerga systems for ourselves. We spent the day at Spelthorne yesterday, witnessing commissioning to ensure the exacting Passivhaus design requirements are being met during the controls and commissioning set up. So many key stages where the disconnect between design and actual performance can occur. Even more so on these complex Passivhaus projects with controls and commissioning being one of the almost final steps to delivering a Passivhaus low energy certified building.  Big thanks to Cardiff commissioning for their patience with us going through the buildings systems and demonstrating them.
