It provides a platform for breakthrough innovations and fosters collaboration by connecting startups with leading research institutions. We’re excited to have had the opportunity to present our advancements alongside such a talented group of innovators. The event was truly inspiring, with participants competing for research support and receiving invaluable feedback from a panel of experts. Winning this competition grants us access to a research budget at one of the consortium’s institutes, allowing us to fast-track our mission of bringing advanced beam-shaping technology to industrial production. A huge thank you to the organizers, board members and supporters of the DIHP Pitch including: Sebastian G.M. During the sessions, Christopher and Frederik evaluated both single-mode and multi-mode high-power beam shapers with the Primes team and their MSM+ and their new Ring-Beam plugin. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀: 💡Our ring-core beam shapers demonstrated propagation stability over the entire Rayleigh length, avoiding merging into a single blob. This ensures exceptional stability in production processes. 💡The beam quality is maintained throughout, with excellent focusability and ring-width precision. Homogeneity is also preserved, ensuring high performance in applications. We had a fantastic time at the 2024 LaserEMobility Workshop at the Technische Universität München, showcasing our innovations in laser beam shaping for laser e-mobility applications. 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥‘𝐬 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: • 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐛 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. The two days flew by, with great talks, coffee and lab tours. Thanks to Ali Gökhan Demir, Siegfried Bähr and team @ Institut für Werkzeugmaschinen und Betriebswissenschaften (iwb), TUM • Dominic Bartels from Bayerisches Laserzentrum and Lehrstuhl für Photonische Technologien der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg delivered an excellent presentation on the outstanding results of using our beam shapers for laser welding of copper, demonstrating their precision and efficiency. • 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞, Christoph!
