€74 billion. According to the Institut der deutschen Wirtschaft (IW), this is the amount the German economy could lose by 2027 due to a shortage of skilled workers. Unsurprisingly, a fierce battle for young talents has developed—the so-called 𝗪𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁? 💡 The War for Talent describes the increasingly intense competition between companies for the best minds. It’s no longer just about filling open positions but winning the most innovative, creative, and high-performing talents. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 “𝘄𝗮𝗿” 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲? 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 The Baby Boomers are retiring, while generations with lower birth rates are following. 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Young talents have the entire world at their disposal now. It’s already difficult for companies to compete with employers within Germany. It’s even more challenging to compete against companies worldwide. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀 Young talents are looking for more than just a salary. They want purpose, flexibility, and work-life balance. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 In a rapidly changing economy, creative minds are crucial to success. 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 Companies compete for diverse talents to be more innovative and competitive. ❗The question is no longer whether companies will participate in the War for Talent but how they will win it. 💡 Next week, we will show you how companies can prepare for the War for Talent. But first, we ask you 👇🏼 How is your company addressing this challenge? Share your experiences in the comments. #WarForTalents #MysteryMinds #HR

𝟵𝟬% of employees reported increased well-being due to the four-day workweek. . This result was recently published in a study by Intraprenör and 4 Day Week - Global. Imagine having every Friday off - with no reduction in pay. Sounds like a dream, right? In recent years, and especially since the pandemic forced many companies to rethink when and how they work, the conversation around the four-day workweek has gained momentum. But can a shorter workweek lead to increased productivity and satisfaction? The study’s findings are promising: Companies that tested the four-day workweek reported significantly less work-related stress and an improved quality of life, all while maintaining or even increasing productivity. Particularly noteworthy: The mental and physical health of participants has also improved. The four-day workweek could be a game-changer for companies looking to stand out as an attractive employer, especially during times when the "War for Talent" is heating up. Not that it's always an easy option: implementing this model requires careful planning and the full support of leadership and employees. What do you think? Is the four-day workweek the future of work? #MysteryMinds #4dayweek #HR #culture

Be the change you wish to see in the world. These timeless words by Gandhi remind us that change begins with each of us. But how do we implement this mindset in the workplace? How often have you canceled plans or postponed seeing friends because work called? And maybe for a job you don’t even like. Sure, work is important. But should it really overshadow everything else? The reality is that we spend most of our time at work. That’s why it should be more than just a means to an end. A study by 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌 at Cognizant confirms this. The “Purpose Gap” study shows that the new generation of employees values passion for their work (𝟱𝟵%) and a healthy work-life balance (𝟱𝟯%) 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 money (𝟰𝟵%). Burnout often occurs when people work overtime for goals they don’t truly care about. We all know the feeling when we do something that brings us joy and fulfillment; time flies, and what we do feels easier. But when the only motivation is the paycheck, with the hope of one day being able to stop. That doesn’t work for long. Of course, earning money is important. But beyond that, doing fulfilling work should be high on the list when choosing a job. What are your thoughts on this? Does your work bring happiness, or are you counting down the days until your next vacation? #MysteryMinds #HR #WorkLifeBalance
