A recent study in BMJ Paediatrics Open sheds light on the challenges of managing neonatal jaundice, especially in areas with limited healthcare resources. The article highlights that “timely recognition of clinically significant hyperbilirubinemia is crucial” to prevent severe complications, yet high costs and logistical barriers limit access to early detection tools. Our 𝗷𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹 leverages predictive analytics to provide early, reliable risk assessments, helping clinicians make proactive decisions that reduce unnecessary treatments and prioritize high-risk cases. By making jaundice screening more accessible, we aim to close the gap. Let’s continue to push for innovations that ensure every baby gets the healthy start they deserve! Don’t miss our CEO Thorsten Waloschek’s key takeaways and reflections on the #HLTH conference. It sounds like it was an incredible event with exciting insights for the future of healthcare!
So, here is my #HLTH recap after four days packed with presentations, panels and numerous meetings as well as ad hoc conversations: Yes, it was bold! And be bold is the only way to survive the start-up journey in healthcare. I am impressed with the focus on and support for women’s health. Not every celebrity or VIP is qualified to talk about any topic they chose to put their name behind, but I was excited to hear what #ChelseaClinton, #DrJillBiden and #HalleBerry had to say. It was great to meet friends, colleagues, investors and partners just to name a few: Dave Whelan, Mark O'Sullivan, Alyssa Abo, MD, MBA, Jamie Sundsbak, Kyle Eisenzimmer, MBA, Maneesh Goyal, Laura Shiff, Alex Lin, Johanna S Dutton, PhD, Dr. Michaela Kauer-Franz, Colm Murphy, Laura Piila, Sarah Nicholson and making new connections to wonderful people and supporters: Rubén Molina, Alexa Jones, Dr. Bayo C., Anna Levchuk, Kenneth Levey MD MPH I feel invigorated and reassured that #NeoPrediX is on the right track to make a difference in maternal and neonatal care. Our current work on early as well as late #prediction of #preeclampsia will make a difference. For women, newborns, families, payers and providers. Thanks again to team #HLTH and Jonathan Weiner for an amazing conference! Keep up the awesome work, you do make a difference.

𝗔 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻 💔 We are deeply saddened by the recent story of 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗱, a mother who tragically lost her life due to complications from preeclampsia shortly after giving birth to twins. Despite reassurances that her condition was stable, Sara’s health deteriorated rapidly, leaving behind her newborns and a devastated family. Sara’s story is one of many that highlight the devastating effects of preeclampsia, a leading cause of maternal mortality worldwide, affecting millions of women each year. At 𝗡𝗲𝗼𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗫, we are committed to preventing tragedies like Sara’s. We are developing innovative 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 to detect early signs of preeclampsia, giving healthcare providers more time to intervene and save lives. Preeclampsia can be silent and fast-acting, which is why 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 is critical. Our mission is to ensure no more families experience such a heartbreaking loss by equipping clinicians with the insights they need to act sooner. Sara’s story is a reminder of why our work matters. We honor her memory by continuing to fight for a future where no mother or child is lost to this condition. Together, we can make a difference. #MaternalHealth #PreeclampsiaAwareness #NeonatalCare #PredictiveAnalytics #NeoPrediX #HealthcareInnovation
