Great news! #TeamNordexBlades has achieved a significant milestone by manufacturing their 1,000th blade at the Nordex Group's manufacturing facility in Lumbier, Spain. The blade, an NR81.5-1 model with a length of 81.5m, will be installed on an N163 turbine at a wind farm in Sierra de Baza (Granada), Spain. For #TeamNordex, 2025 marks a special milestone: It is our 40th anniversary! These are 40 years in which technology has advanced by leaps and bounds; 40 years in which we have introduced groundbreaking turbines, often the world’s most powerful of the time; and 40 years in which our turbines have been honoured with gold medals. Today, on the International Day of Clean Energy, which highlights the importance of an affordable, reliable and sustainable energy transition for the benefit of people and the planet, the Nordex Group is excited to launch its anniversary newsletter ‘40 Years Nordex Group’, in which we look back upon our humble beginnings, key milestones and significant developments. Flemming Pedersen and his two sons, Carsten and Jens, had this very vision of a product that could generate electricity in a cost-effective way without harming the environment. This vision led to the founding of Nordex in Denmark in 1985, so the occasion for the first issue could not be more appropriate. Exciting news for Nordex Group from the Swiss winter sports resort of Davos, the political and economic hub of the world from 21 to 24 January, when around 60 heads of state and government, 900 CEOs of large companies and influential non-governmental organisations are attending the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum. During this annual event, also the 100 most sustainable companies are announced and acknowledged in the "Corporate Knights Global 100". The index reflects the sustainability performance of companies worldwide based on around 25 indicators,e.g. resource management (energy, water, and waste efficiency), employee management (diversity, safety, and employee benefits), and sustainable revenue and  investment (percentage of revenue and investments in sustainable solutions). We are particularly proud that Nordex Group has been recognised in the Top-Twenty at this rank for the second time in a row, when we ranked 16th in 2024. We would like to thank not only our colleagues in the Sustainability Department for this achievement but also all our colleagues in various departments around the world who continuously support our ambitious sustainability strategy. #nxgnews #sustainability #industryleading

Congratulations to our Nordex’ colleagues Tuna Kerman, Senior Sales Manager Nordex Türkiye, and Sasirekha Murugan, Component Specialist Nordex India, who have been selected for the sixth edition of Women in Wind program, jointly run by the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and the Global Women‘s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET). The program is a global initiative that trains and mentors women in the wind industry, providing them with a diverse skillset and network to advance to leadership positions.
