Personio Foundation is an independent, nonprofit organisation offering financial and strategic support as well as HR advice to forward-thinking organisations via two flagship programs: (1) Impact Portfolio: we fund and support exceptional NGOs working in the fields of Climate Action and Education. We look for outstanding teams with innovative and scalable solutions to tackle the most pressing challenges in their fields and thereby foster innovation for People and Planet. (2) HR Accelerator: Personio Foundation supports HR professionals in the nonprofit and social business sector to tackle their big HR challenges. We offer a free dedicated training hub, knowledge base and community to help build up better people management processes and grow the most valuable asset of any organization – their people. Personio Foundation is based on a commitment made when Personio was created to donate 1% of the company’s equity for good causes. This 1% stake is currently worth $85 million and will continue to grow until an IPO of Personio. An additional $3 million in cash donations from Personio’s founders, investors and the company itself has been made to drive immediate progress through Personio Foundation.

    Driving social change - a day with Project Soar in Marrakech 💫 On her recent Impact Day, Sarah El-Saidi from Personio's Customer Success team hosted a workshop at Project Soar in Marrakech, one of our portfolio organizations. Project Soar empowers marginalized teen girls aged 13-18 through a program based on five modules: value, voice, body, rights, and path. These workshops equip girls to make a positive impact in their communities. Essential resources, like menstrual kits, are also provided to support their journey. In collaboration with Hanane, Sorar's HR expert, Sarah explored their onboarding process and discussed ways to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. In addition, they visited the offsite in Douar Laadam, joining the Soar girls for the last day of summer camp with activities supported by international volunteers.     A real pleasure to present on the benefits of neuroinclusion as part of the work Personio's diversity committee is doing to engage and empower their stakeholders. As leaders in HR, Personio is dedicated to give HR teams time to focus on what really matters: people. This is especially important when considering the high number of people who identify as disabled and/or neurodivergent who are excluded from the workforce often because HR departments say they don't have the time or resources. A big thank you to Holly Smith and Elisabeth Dräxler for the respective work you do to foster sustainable change. Steps is a proud portfolio member of the the Personio Foundation and our work together has enabled us to accelerate our impact, specifically with research and community partnerships.
