Empowering impact startups in creating solutions for a world of crises.
Info
EMPOWERING(1) IMPACT STARTUPS(2) IN CREATING SOLUTIONS(3) FOR A WORLD OF CRISES(4). 1 There is no fixed curriculum Founders' needs are very specific, depending on their experience and the current development of their startup. Thus, we offer incubation and acceleration programs based on their needs. 2 Impact is what matters We don't mind the legal form of the startups. We support both nonprofits with strong entrepreneurial spirit and companies with a strong impact mentality. What matters is the impact and a financial sustainability. 3 It's not about reinventing the wheel The innovations we support do not have to be completely new to the world. We want to support solutions that change existing systems and thus contribute to solving crises. 4 The world is on fire The crises of our time are strongly interconnected, so we do not limit ourselves to specific topic, but are theme-open and offer programs in response to short-term crises as well as long-term ones. About us: PHINEO Startups is part of the PHINEO gAG is a non-profit analysis and consulting company that has been dedicated to social impact for 10+ years. We were at the Startup World Cup Germany by DDX in Berlin yesterday. Three things became clear in all the discussions and panels with Maria Gross, Tatjana Trujillo (She/her), Karine Peters, Philipp Frey, our colleague Sebastian Neumann and many more. 1. the coronavirus crisis is also having a direct impact on the startup scene. Getting venture capital is no longer as easy as it was a few years ago. And many corporations, including DAX companies, are no longer investing in startups because they want to focus on their core business again due to the multiple crises. 2. many startup acquisitions by corporations in recent years must be considered a failure in retrospective. This is mainly due to the culture clash between corporates and startups. The main challenge: integrating a startup into a corporate environment. The cultures often don't fit. In most acquisitions, the startup teams do not really want to become part of the corporate. And founders and core teams leave the company as quickly as their contracts allow. 3. for precisely these two reasons, the topic of venture clienting was on everyone's lips. Startups and corporates work together. But remain independent. Corporates implement the innovative products or services of startups into their own supply chain. And the startups receive revenue from real customers at an early stage. And we want to support this process with our new Impact Collectives service. We want to establish some of the necessary cooperation structures with our Impact Collectives on the topics of Sustainable Materials, Resilient Forests and Responsible Finance. In each of the three collectives, we want to bring together 50-100 impact startups with governments, administrations, research institutes, NGOs, foundations and corporations to develop and test joint solutions. PHINEO Startups hat dies direkt geteilt
CEO PHINEO | Co-CEO NIXDORF Kapital | Aufsichtsrat | SPIEGEL-Bestseller | Impact Business Angel | Dozent | Ex McKinsey, Ex World Bank

📣 Attention, sustainability managers & founders in our network! What are the biggest hurdles for companies in expanding their environmental protection measures? Marie-Kristin Wysk, the founder of IMPACTING needs your feedback. Marie is currently participating in our accelerator program and has prepared a survey. Her team wants to better understand which obstacles are particularly relevant when implementing sustainability measures in companies. The impact startup from Hamburg has the goal to contribute to the fight against climate change and to protect our environment. The survey is aimed at sustainability managers and managing directors of companies who can assess what is currently holding their company back from (even) more environmental protection. https://lnkd.in/e35wbXcg #sustainability #impact #survey #CSRD #ESG #CorporateSustainability
