Machine Learning for Science - starting with Quantum Technologies

Info

Qruise develops software that helps scientists and researchers use Machine Learning tools in their day-to-day scientific workflows without having to worry about what's under the hood. ML has revolutionised how science is being done and taking advantage of this new numerical toolset should not require having a full time ML scientist on the team to design, develop and deploy systems. Qruise is developing ML for Science as a productised toolset making ML driven discovery accessible to all. Our first offerings address the growing pains of controlling current generation noisy quantum computers (NISQ devices) and provide improvements in operational fidelities through the use of ML & Quantum Optimal Control.

We had an excellent time at the Xecs_Eureka Matchmaking Event in Hamburg yesterday!🤝   This event aimed to create meaningful and lasting collaborations in the Electronics Components & Systems (ECS) community. In this way, the team at Xecs hopes to accelerate sustainable industrial innovation across the world 🌱🌍   Our CPO, Anurag Saha Roy, pitched our latest work and long-term vision, and we’re delighted by the feedback we received. The networking opportunities offered by this event were exceptional, and we’re grateful to have made such great new connections, ones that will hopefully develop into strong partnerships lasting years 💫   If you’re interested in collaborating with us to form a consortium and apply for a grant under the next Xecs call, please don’t hesitate to get in touch here or email us at info@qruise.com!   #XecsMatchmaking #QuantumComputing #DeepTech

This year's Quantum.Tech London conference was a brilliant opportunity to see the current trends and adoption of quantum technologies by numerous industries, spanning from fintech to aerospace to transport services. Together with Nicu Becherescu I was representing Qruise as one of the sponsors of the event. The talks at the booth, the reception at National Physical Laboratory (NPL), and the Ion Maiden's concert were riveting!

Bonjour la France!🇫🇷👋   We’re absolutely thrilled to announce the expansion of our quantum computing endeavours with the opening of our new office in the Paris region! As the 9th international quantum company to establish a presence here, we’ll be in excellent company 🤝   France is a key player in quantum research and industry, both in Europe and worldwide 🌍 In 2021, the French government committed €1.8 billion to quantum initiatives over 5 years, and France is responsible for a whopping 20% of global quantum computer sales! Now how’s that for a quantum leap!🚀   This milestone marks an important step in our mission to accelerate advancements in quantum technologies and deliver cutting-edge software solutions for the quantum ecosystem. By expanding into France, we hope to strengthen our relationships with its many leading research teams and companies, thereby enhancing our quantum impact in Europe 💫   A special thank you to Choose Paris Region and Thomas FAUVEL for their invaluable support in making this expansion a reality. Your dedication to fostering innovation and facilitating smooth transitions has been instrumental in our growth, and we’re excited to explore the new possibilities and challenges this new chapter will create! 🥳   Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to build a brighter, quantum-driven future!☀️⚛️ Read the French version here: https://lnkd.in/eKukJKjC   #QuantumComputing #MachineLearning

We had an excellent time at the IEEE Quantum Week in Montreal!🙌 It was great to catch up with old friends and quantum colleagues, as well as to meet so many new faces!   A special thanks to Quantum Machines for inviting our CEO, Shai Machnes, to take part in two of their panels. Following the ‘Open Stack’ panel, Shai remarked “It was a fantastic showcase of where quantum computing is headed, and it's exciting to be part of an ecosystem where innovation is happening at every level of the quantum stack”. He also found the 'Quantum Software Stack' panel incredibly insightful, especially the lively debates about which aspects of the stack to standardise and when. “Getting the timing right on standards is crucial – if we do it well, it could really accelerate development across the industry. But if we jump the gun, we risk stifling innovation. Finding that balance is tricky, but it's exciting to see the community engaging with these important questions.” 🤔💭   Thanks also to our friends at Qblox for inviting our CPO, Anurag Saha Roy, to discuss the emerging field of pulse level languages, interfaces and representations. The speakers agreed that pulse level representations are just as critical at the calibration/middleware level as at the algorithms/application level but it will take some time to converge on a single standard solution for the whole industry 🤝🏅 If you missed us at #QCE24, don’t worry – you can catch us for the rest of the week at Adaptive Quantum Circuits in Cape Cod!🐟⚛️   #AQC24 #QuantumComputing #QuantumTech
