🌟 Top 5 Things I’ve Learned from Starting Secfix 🌟 1️⃣ Build something people actually want. Shoutout to PG from Y Combinator for this one! At Secfix, we don’t build what we think our customers want—we build what they tell us they want. If they ask for it, we make it a priority. Simple as that. 2️⃣ Talk to your users every day. I genuinely enjoy chatting with our customers. Whether it’s a check-in or just hearing feedback, I’m always learning something new. Even as we scale, I’ll keep talking to them every day. It’s one of the best parts of my job! 3️⃣ ARR and active users matter more than anything else. Let’s be real—vanity metrics like social followers or speaking at conferences don’t keep the lights on. It’s all about growing your ARR and keeping users engaged. That’s where your focus should be. 4️⃣ Balance fast growth with managing burn. Yes, we want to grow fast and hit big milestones, but we’re not reckless about it. We’re mindful of our burn rate and looking at the long game. It’s all about sustainable growth so we can keep raising future rounds comfortably. 5️⃣ Hire the right people. Secfix wouldn’t be where it is without our team. We’re still small, but everyone here works smart and hard. Honestly, without them, none of this would have come to life. Starting a company is a wild journey, and I’m still learning every day. Last week we unveiled TRUST CENTER!! We've received this request so many times, and it's finally here. In this first version, here's what's supported: 1. Create and personalize your Trust Center—just like on Shopify. 2. Customize brand colors, logos, favicons, and contact info. 3. Upload your certificates, policies, and other resources. 4. Add subprocessors with auto-populated suggestions. 5. Add and manage controls with automation. 6. The cherry on top—unlimited granular access requests for sensitive documents like pentest and SOC 2 reports. 7. Embedding Trust Center on your landing page. ...and so much more that couldn't fit here! This is the most beautiful and easy-to-use Trust Center Editor I've seen in any compliance product. I can't wait to see everyone start using it 📈 And yes, I struggled a bit with the pauses in the video because I’m so excited.
