We are proud to announce that around 95% of the materials on our stand are reused - from modular walls to fabric panels that will be used in future projects. These approaches underline our commitment to environmentally responsible action and show that sustainable design is not only possible, but also aesthetically pleasing. Our approach has not only minimized the environmental footprint, but also reduced costs by over 35% compared to 2022. Review of the Baden Architecture Prize 2024 🏆  Last week, we had the honor of attending the Baden Architecture Award 2024! It was an unforgettable evening that we were able to spend with many important players in the architecture industry. A big thank you to our Sedus colleagues Raphael Kares, Michael Fehsenfeld, Jasmin Block, Magdalen Fränsemeier, Ralf Kolb and Robin-Clark Klimaschewsky who represented us on site. Michael Fehsenfeld gave the inspiring speech in the “Corporate Architecture” category, and the award ceremony took place in cooperation with LAMILUX. We congratulate AAg Architekten GmbH from Heidelberg, who won the prize in this category for their project “Production extension hall 2 Rossmanith Fenster + Fassade” (built in 2022)! The jury emphasized that the project with its monolithic body made of unreinforced lightweight concrete not only stands for responsibility, sustainability and innovation, but also meets the highest requirements for modern production facilities without restricting usability.  Particularly impressive was the expertise of the jury members, including Peter Ippolito, founder of the Ippolito Fleitz Group – Identity Architects, known for his outstanding interior architecture and design projects, and Dr. Christian Bergmann, Partner and Head of Architecture at HADI TEHERANI, who has been responsible for numerous complex, mixed-use projects. Their valuable contributions have significantly influenced the quality of the competition. For us at #Sedus, it means a lot to be a sponsor of the Baden Architecture Prize. This prize raises awareness of good architecture and shows how important aesthetic and functional solutions are for our built environment. The award ceremony took place in the historic Erlenbad monastery in Sasbach and provided the perfect backdrop for honoring exceptional buildings. We would like to thank all the judges for their dedicated work.
