Clinical Surgical Oncology recently published a real-world data (#RWD) analysis of breast cancer guidelines adherence using Sqilline's #DannyPlatform. 📌 #RWD from January 2019 to August 2023 was analysed to assess current practices and identify areas for improvement covering 13,790 patients. 📌 The results show need to implement targeted interventions to promote adherence to international guidelines, focusing on increasing core-needle biopsy utilization and reducing reliance on frozen sections. 📌 Enhancing training programs for surgeons, ensuring consistent guideline dissemination, and addressing regulatory barriers are crucial steps to improve diagnostic and treatment practices. 📌 Data analytics technology is key for making informed decisions and gaining strategic insights in #healthcare. Sqilline Health SRL supported the Medical and Scientific Days Conference of the Institute of Oncology "Prof. Dr. Alexandru Trestioreanu" in Bucharest. Daniela Zob, MD PhD presented a Real-world Data (RWD) analysis of “Breast Cancer Treatment of HER2 Positive Patients from 2022 to May 2024.” The summary of her presentation is below: 📌 Data Extraction & Collection. They used Danny Platform as the analytic tool for RWD analysis, automatically extracting data from the Hospital Information System, including patient records. 📌 Data Structuring. Danny Platform processed and structured free text data via AI/ML algorithms from the Electronic Health Records (EHRs), including biomarkers, stages, and treatment lines. 📌 Institute of Oncology Bucharest Statistical Analysis. Patient demographics, clinical characteristics, and end-point outcomes were summarized using descriptive statistics.
