In celebration of Women's History Month, we had the honor of hosting an engaging virtual event for our employees across the globe, with Ivana Jemelkova, CEO of the Hydrogen Council, as our special guest. 🌍 Led by Katharina Immoor, Senior Director Corporate Communications, Marketing, PA & ESG, the engaging conversation highlighted the challenges and opportunities for women in leadership roles, particularly in industries that have traditionally faced gender inequality. Here are a few of our key takeaways from the discussion: 💪 Lead with your unique strengths rather than what may be considered "perfect" 🫶 Support each other - women should be sponsors and mentors of other women, too 🌱 A healthy, inclusive culture is a must-have for any successful organization We're grateful for the valuable insights shared and are inspired to continue supporting women who are breaking barriers and leading change! 👏 #WomenInLeadership #DiversityAndInclusion #Leadership

Shaken, stirred—or electrolyzed? 🍸 Just like the perfect cocktail, great #Technology is all about balance. With HYDROGIN®, we’ve mixed a name as precise as our #Electrolysis process—where water is split into #Hydrogen and oxygen with just the right touch of energy. So, as the U.S. raises a glass for National #CocktailDay, we’re toasting to innovation, chemistry and a future powered by hydrogen. Cheers! 🥂

Glaciers are nature’s reservoirs, supplying water to rivers worldwide. 💦🌎 But as global temperatures rise, their rapid retreat is causing devastating floods and landslides—while endanger future water supplies. The future of our planet depends on it. Let’s take action and remember the urgency of #WorldWaterDay. Want to dive deeper into this topic? Check out our latest blog post—link in the comments! 👇

Have you ever thought about the benefits of recovering #Chlorine from your excess hydrochloric acid (HCl)? Our chlorine recovery process leverages #Electrolysis to effectively recycle HCl, producing chlorine for reuse in your facility. Our solution can be easily integrated into TDI (Toluene Diisocyanate) and MDI (Methylene Diphenyl Diisocyanate) plants, backed by our extensive expertise in related operations.

Today we're giving you a sneak peek into our assembly lab. To further develop our highly efficient production, we have opened an #AssemblyLab in Germany, which went into operation with the commissioning of the first robots for screwing, inserting and tightening. Our medium-term goal is to increase the level of #Automation in our cell production process. In this way, we aim to increase efficiency and speed, achieve higher capacity at a lower cost per unit, and achieve greater reliability and productivity. #Engineering #Innovation

In an opinion article for energate, our CEO Werner Ponikwar challenges the idea that blue #Hydrogen is a pragmatic bridge #Technology. Methane leakages and challenges to achieve high sequestration rates needed cast doubt on blue hydrogen's climate impact and economic viability. The need to create additional CO2 pipeline and storage infrastructure raises the question of when blue hydrogen will be available in relevant quantities. The key question for Germany's CDU/CSU and SPD during their coalition negotiations is: How can we best invest in a sustainable future as a society? What do you think? Let’s discuss in the comments—where you’ll also find the link to the full article!

Exciting news! 🎉 CINEA - European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency and thyssenkrupp nucera have officially signed the EUR 36 million grant from the EU’s Innovation Fund for our project selected in October 2024. This grant will support our 300 MW manufacturing facility for high temperature Solid Oxide Electrolysis (SOE) stack modules, with potential future scalability towards multi-gigawatt production facilities. This is a huge step towards scaling #GreenHydrogen production via high temperature #Electrolysis, advancing technology, and contributing to the EU #Hydrogen strategies. We're thrilled to continue paving the way in hydrogen solutions and driving the move towards #EnergyTransition. Read more about this topic in our latest blog article: https://lnkd.in/eggsfHYC

Without water electrolysis, there is no #EnergyTransition for the industry. 🌱 #Hydrogen is crucial for the decarbonization of our industries. Alkaline water electrolysis (AWE) is one of the leading large-scale #GreenHydrogen production technologies today. Why? ✔️It is a cost-efficient, standardized and modular approach for processing hydrogen in large volumes, which are needed to produce sustainable chemicals such as ammonia, methanol and green steel. ✔️Our 20 MW AWE module scalum® can be run directly with fluctuating #renewable power input and be integrated into Power-to-X applications. On #WorldEngineeringDay for Sustainable Development, we celebrate engineering innovation driving a sustainable future. Learn more about scalum® in the comments.
