Safe Skies Ahead: Innovative Collision Avoidance System for Manned Aircraft and Unmanned Aerial Systems 🛩 The Chair of #AirTransport Technology and #Logistics, in collaboration with the Chair of #AircraftEngineering and the Vodafone Chair Mobile Communications Systems, launched their new research project "Air-Take-Off". It is focused on developing a collision avoidance system for (small) manned aircraft and cooperative Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). The objective is to ensure safe coexistence in complex shared #airspace and to execute avoidance maneuvers when conflicts arise. 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️ 💨 REWE Team Challenge Dresden 2024 Last week, we had a blast participating in Dresden's 5k company run. With 13 chair members running in total, we reached a few new PBs (personal bests, not petabytes - though some of us are working towards this goal, because who doesn't love more data rate? 🤓). As we crossed the finish line one by one, the sense of accomplishment was undeniable. We may not have been the fastest team, but we were certainly the most spirited - and we definitely set a record for the fastest route to the post-race snacks and drinks. 🍻🍪 Who knew our data skills would transfer so well to running?
