🚢 Exciting news from Voith Turbo: With the successful delivery of two new Voith Water Tractors (VWT) with dual-fuel drive, we are advancing marine #technology! Through this ground-breaking pilot project, these vessels can be powered by LNG (liquefied natural gas) or diesel for the first time, offering greater flexibility and lower emissions. Through an efficient combination of the two ship sets of Voith Schneider Propellers and the Voith Electronic Control Systems the VWTs are as maneuverable and powerful as ever. The VWTs, delivered to our customer Botaş Petroleum Pipeline Corporation, were designed by renowned Canadian naval architecture and marine engineering firm Robert Allan Ltd. and built by UZMAR Shipbuilding. With this #innovation, we are driving low-emission technologies in the marine industry forward while ensuring the highest standards of maneuverability and efficiency. ⚓🌱

The majority of you prioritize the proper recycling of plastic and paper, followed by batteries and clothing. At #Voith, sustainability and innovation are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to developing solutions that are not only efficient and technologically advanced but also environmentally friendly. 🌍 On the occasion of Global Recycling Day 2025 today, we want to highlight some of our recycling solutions and initiatives: 🔹 Voith Paper focuses on resource-efficient paper production and optimized recycling processes. With several innovative solutions, for example for stock preparation and fiber recycling, we drive sustainable papermaking. 🔹 At Voith Turbo, we provide customized recycling solutions, for example for metal recycling, that fit the specific operational requirements of our customers to optimize production speed and reliability. 🔹 One of our recycling initiatives at Voith HySTech is the recycling of our high-pressure CFRP tanks at the end of their lifespan. Through an advanced process, carbon fibers and resins are extracted from composite parts, enabling the reuse of recycled carbon fiber in new automotive components. 🌱 Every action counts! We believe that every individual can make a contribution. That's why we encourage our colleagues and partners to practice recycling and make sustainable choices.
