Having just spoken at #ESGC2024 organized by EASE - The European Association for Storage of Energy, our Michael Peither is full of enthusiasm about the positive spirit that can be observed within the industry and the market. Renewable energies and specifically Long Duration Energy Storage LDES are undoubtedly on the rise. Yet, there still is a high need for funding and investments to realize the energy transition, leveraging the possibilities of a new energy infrastructure. Additional advocacy is given by International Energy Agency (IEA)´s latest #WorldEnergyOutlook2024 report urging for more clean energy investments and the upcoming COP29 Azerbaijan #GlobalEnergyStorageAndGridsPledge, emphasizing the need for a more robust infrastructure, including LDES solutions, to ensure grid reliability and resilience. Celebrating #VoltEnergyDay with great enthusiasm, showcasing our engineering skills, and appreciating the power of teamwork and collaboration – all key ingredients for success! To strengthen our "one team – one goal" mindset, we gathered at #PucherMeer in the west of Munich. Despite the cold and rainy weather, our hearts and spirits quickly warmed up with positive energy as we embraced a full day of team-building activities, celebrated our team spirit, and tested our technical and collaborative skills.
