🌍⚡️ On October 8-9, Henning von Zanthier and Jakub Wysocki had the opportunity to participate in the GTS EU 2024 – Geothermal Transition Summit in Munich. They took part in discussions on leveraging the experience and potential of the extraction sector (oil and gas) for the development of geothermal energy worldwide. 📅 On October 9, Henning von Zanthier gave a presentation titled "Berlin as a front runner on geothermal transformation at a big scale?" which addressed topics such as the potential of Berlin in utilizing geothermal energy for district heating, the financial support provided by the Berlin authorities for the energy transition, and a perspective on the development of geothermal energy from a European policy viewpoint. 💡 The conference brought together experts from all over the world – not only from Europe but also from the USA and Asia, including Indonesia. The main focus was on trends in the development of geothermal energy in Europe, particularly in Germany, Italy, Turkey, Denmark, and Switzerland. We discussed technical and research-related aspects, the implementation of large geothermal projects, and international collaboration for the future of renewable energy. The event was also an excellent opportunity to network and exchange experiences with industry leaders. Among the participants were renowned companies such as Halliburton, GA Drilling, Steam Group, Green Therma, Innargi, Exergy, Mazama Energy, Orcan Energy, OMV, Well Guidance, Welltec, who actively support the development of geothermal energy worldwide. 🎯 Participating in this event is an important part of our strategy to support our clients in innovative investment projects focused on eco-friendly energy solutions. Our support is based on two pillars: 1) the experience of the company Finder in business development and administrative project management for large geothermal enterprises in Germany and Poland, 2) legal and tax advisory at every stage of project implementation, provided by the law firm in Berlin and Poznań. We are convinced that the future of the energy sector lies in international cooperation and the use of experience and knowledge from different business areas.
