In our 25-year history, we have grown from a regional start-up to an international company. In addition to the opening of our US subsidiary, the establishment of our Chinese subsidiary represents a significant milestone in our development. In 2015, voxeljet China was founded and in 2019 we expanded our presence with the construction of a new 8,000m² facility. Starting with 11 employees, the team has now grown to 31. In recent years, voxeljet China has matured and consolidated its position in the industry. With a strong product and service portfolio and an established customer base, we are confident that the company is well equipped to meet the challenges of the next 25 years.

The world of #3Dprinting depends on CAD data and the knowledge of how to create and edit it. With this in mind, our trainees completed an internal workshop with our IT department to learn the basics of data creation and editing using the 3D program Blender. Using the basic techniques of scaling, moving and extruding, our trainees put what they had learned into practice, creating everything from furniture to UFOs. At the end of the project week, the groups designed a pirate ship and a Ferris wheel and printed them using our HSS process. They completed the full workflow by unpacking and finishing the printed parts independently. The project week aims to deepen the knowledge of 3D printing and all its upstream and downstream processes and is an integral part of the training for all our apprentices. During a visit in México Juan Brignone , María Julieta Brignone and Eduardo Brignone from our South American sales partner Brignone & Asociados visited Impro Precision Industries Limited in Mexico. In February, a VX2000 was installed at Impro's Mexican facility to ensure a steady supply of molds and cores for metal casting. Impro is a multinational company and supplier to various industries such as automotive, construction equipment, aerospace and many more. We're looking forward to working together and expanding our market presence in Mexico!
