I am on my way to the ORGATEC Cologne - Work Culture Festival 2024, held in Cologne, Germany, and will be there in the next days on stage several times and in discussions - celebrating and living my wonderful innovation partnership with Wilkhahn. 🙌 The ORGATEC is a major international trade fair focused on modern working environments and office spaces. This makes me curious about the days to come! 🤓 Exploring the future of work and its processes, places and tools is one of my main passions, already since working for the Urban City Council in Auckland decades ago and rethinking the way how the Central Business District of this magnificent city can undergo changes that are focusing on human works needs and not just technological possibilities and abstract strategic goals. 🌏 And now with my own laboratory of new work, the Co-Innovation Factory in Vienna, I developed a huge playground that allows me to experiment and at the same time to transform ideas into action. This living lab hosts innovative events, experiments with interaction and collaboration setups, embraces the physical and the digital world and has a core of innovation residents at the same time, creating an ecosystem of curiosity and learning that I am very proud of. 🏭💡 Realizing a project of this magnitude is only possible with the right partners, and I was fortunate to connect with the brilliant minds at Wilkhahn early on in the process. Developing a sparring partnership of ideas and learning was invaluable in helping me create the spectacular environment that the Co-Innovation Factory is today - bridging functionality with emotion, filled with energy, and equipped with office solutions that fit perfectly. 🤩 I am happy to share some insights on this journey and our learnings for the future of work at the ORGATEC.
