As a world-leading manufacturer of battery cathode materials, XTC New Energy Materials Europe GmbH, in partnership with 阿海珐 under the banner of our joint venture #Neomat, participated in today's #VivaFabrica2025 at Lille Grand Palais, in the stand of EcosystèmeD. We were together with numerous industrial companies and organizations from the Hauts-de-France, including CCI Littoral Hauts-de-France, Port of Dunkirk, Aluminium Dunkerque, ACC - Automotive Cells Company, Toyota Motor Corporation, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, and more.   We extend our heartful thanks to young generations for not only their interests in our business and projects, but their passion in battery technology as well. We greatly appreciate the valuable exchanges with other industry representatives from the region.   Neomat will continue to be present in Viva Fabrica on February 27th and 28th, 2025. 18 months after the signature of our new partnership project with Orano Group, XTC New Energy is proud to announce the launch of two joint ventures for the production of components for batteries for electric vehicles in Dunkirk, France. This project, known as Neomat, will allow us to join forces to develop an integrated, high-capacity industrial platform in France. The joint ventures will take on the task of constructing two facilities: - Neomat CAM, where active cathode materials will be produced, - Neomat PCAM, where precursors for active cathode materials will be produced. Mr. Long JIANG, General Manager of XTC New Energy said: “The creation of the two joint ventures is the result of the close collaboration between both teams over the last 18 months. Our project - Neomat - is a good example of the cooperation between the two countries in the electric mobility industry. In the future, XTC New Energy and Orano will further deepen the cooperation to make Neomat CAM & PCAM a leading player in European EV battery industry. ” Guillaume Dureau, Orano's Senior Executive Vice President of Engineering, R&D, Innovation and New Activities said: “The ambition of the deployment of the plants is to contribute to the development of a value chain for the production and recycling of electric vehicle batteries in France. Our priority is to set out a development plan that meets the expectations of the market, to bring this plan to fruition and oversee the future steps in its development.” According to Mr. Philippe HATRON, Director of Orano's Batteries program and member of the Boards of Directors of two joint ventures: "This is another step forward in our partnership which strengthens the organization of the project. We are hereby confirming our desire to pool our expertise and know-how together to help to develop a competitive industrial value chain in battery materials in Dunkirk in the Hauts-de-France region to serve European electric vehicle industry over the long term".   Mr. Michael LIU, CEO of Neomat CAM emphasized: “Since May 2023, teams from two groups have been working together, combining experience and knowledge in their respective domains to complete multiples milestones. At the same time, our project has received the support of the French government, the #Hauts-de-France region and the #Communauté Urbaine de Dunkerque. In addition, local residents have on many occasions expressed their interest in and support for the location chosen for our joint ventures. "
