    Say goodbye to fitting room frustrations and hello to a new, tailored-to-you shopping experience - Introducing our enhanced virtual fitting room.👕👗 For the first time, we're integrating our body measurement technology, launched in 2023, with our virtual fitting room, allowing our customers to create a 3D avatar based on their measurements. This pilot, live in 14 Zalando markets, features a a selection of Levi Strauss & Co. garments for men and women. Pelin Anli Bedirhanoglu, Director of Product shares, "In the early versions of our virtual fitting room, 3D avatars were based on statistical modelling, using customer height, weight and gender to predict the customers’ body shape. But every body is unique. By integrating our body measurement technology into our virtual fitting room, customers can now create avatars that accurately reflect their individual body shape."     Founding Day is all about reconnecting with our Founding Mindset – the values that have driven us from day one and continue to shape our journey forward. It’s a day to celebrate who we are, reflect on what makes Zalando unique, and come together to inspire each other in building an even stronger, more customer-centric culture. This year’s Founding Day was packed with exciting moments and meaningful conversations: • We began with an inspiring welcome from David Schneider and Masood Choudhry. • The Culture Talk encouraged us all to collaborate more for the customer, thanks to speakers Astrid Arndt and Mike Mulligan in Dublin, Robert Gentz and Ramilya Krawinkel in Berlin, and Carsten Bernstein and Stefan Rutschmann in Erfurt. • Interactive sessions, including the Customer Care Experience, Size and Fit, and Consumer Insights, gave us deeper insights into delivering exceptional customer experiences. • We ended the day with an engaging Fireside Chat led by SVP Product Design Anne Pascual. Guest speakers Herbert Hofmann from Highsnobiety and Gregor Abenstein from PUMA Group shared their thoughts on brand, culture, and the future of fashion at Zalando and beyond.     Cultural Ties is our first-of-its kind exploration into the communities, styles and cultures that are driving streetwear forward across some of the most influential cities in Europe. The project spotlights unique streetwear communities across six European cities - Amsterdam, Antwerp, Berlin, Paris, Stockholm and Warsaw. Each story is told through a curated collection of interviews, original photography, emerging streetwear trends & product style guides - powered by Zalando’s Trend Spotter Tool - and must visit "Hotspots" in street culture, each with their own distinct view on what streetwear looks like in their city today. “In our work on the Cultural Ties, we combined Zalando’s industry knowledge and data with insights from top streetwear trendsetters, to inspire our customers and showcase the rich diversity of streetwear culture across Europe,” shares Marius Brintrup, Commercial Director Streetwear. “At Zalando, our role isn’t to dictate what streetwear should be but to support and amplify the voices of those leading its evolution; like the communities of Antwerp and Warsaw, where really exciting creativity in streetwear is emerging,” shares Daniela Klaeser, Team Lead for Streetwear Buying. “Our mission is to be a great connector, bridging diverse communities across countries, cultures and styles, and that’s what Cultural Ties is all about.” Read more here: https://zln.do/3BKHabO #Streetwear #CulturalTies #ZalandoNews

    We had the pleasure of gathering with amazing people in Copenhagen this week to celebrate the launch of our Adaptive sportswear and kidswear collections. It was an inspiring event filled with meaningful conversations, personal stories, and a shared passion for creating a more inclusive fashion landscape. We were especially moved by the personal experiences shared by our guest speakers, highlighting how important it is to offer fashion that caters to everyone’s needs. A big thank you goes to Mads Brix Baulund from Videnscenter om handicap, who shared valuable insights about how clothing enables inclusion in communities. Fabio Baum, General Manager Nordics & Benelux, shares, "Our mission is to build a platform where everyone who shops at Zalando feels included and represented. With the launch of our new Adaptive sports collection, we will be able to offer our customers not only the product they need but also the one that inspires them and allows them to perform their best. Since the initial launch of Adaptive fashion at Zalando in October 2022, the response by the Disabled community has been extremely encouraging. Many customers were specifically asking when we would be launching Adaptive kidswear and I’m very happy that that day has come. I’m proud of our designer and buyer teams for creating such an extensive and comprehensive range of Adaptive wear, answering the needs of so many Disabled customers.” A huge thank you to all the attendees, partners, and speakers for making this day special.
