    Today, we released our interim report for the first quarter of 2024/25. We are pleased to report a first quarter that aligns with our plans and expectations. While we experienced a 12% decline in revenue, this was primarily due to a strong comparable first quarter last year, driven by heightened demand ahead of a planned price increase. We achieved a record-high gross margin of 55.2%, reflecting our ongoing efforts to strengthen the company’s financial foundation and positioning us well for future growth. Our CEO Kristian Tear commented on the results and the road ahead for Bang & Olufsen: “…We continued to execute our strategic priorities with a particular focus on increasing global brand awareness, optimizing the retail network and creating world-class products. We recently launched our new flagship headphones Beoplay H100 and are delighted to see that they are off to a good start. Simultaneously, we have worked to prepare the acceleration of our strategy execution in order to make the value-creating investments to realise our mid-term growth plan. We were therefore pleased to get strong support for our plan at our Annual General Meeting in August, enabling us to increase the share capital and complete a directed share issue, expectedly before the end of November.”   Read more below: https://lnkd.in/g_wvTbuB

    This week we participated in #ScienceDay - an initiative that aims sheds light on careers within science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM,) building on our commitment to support future innovators through knowledge sharing. We had the pleasure of welcoming more than 40 students for an introduction to STEM related career paths at Bang & Olufsen, at our factory in Struer, where we explored themes close to our hearts - from product circularity to craftsmanship, acoustics and more. It was a rewarding experience for all and we look back on a day replete with valuable insights from our enthusiastic guests.

    Bang & Olufsen had the honour of being part of TCL 's press conference at the TCL Cube at IFA Berlin 2024. Our VP of Brand Partnering & Strategic Partnerships, Duncan McCue, took to the stage to highlight our partnership with TCL and our ‘Audio by Bang & Olufsen’ proposition. ‘Audio by Bang & Olufsen’ aims to elevate the overall product experience and bring seamless sound experiences and technology to TCL’s customers. All products have been evaluated and improved by the very same acousticians at our Sound Lab in Struer who are behind the sound design for our own core product portfolio. Today´s press conference also revealed that ‘Audio by Bang & Olufsen’ will be integrated into TCL’s next flagship TV, as we mark what is only the beginning of our partnership.
