Shipwreck 3D reconstruction | Have you seen this 3D model of the Endurance wreck (featured in a new documentary in cinemas)? It’s amazing to see what #subseatechnology can achieve 👏 Great work by Deep Ocean Search Ltd! We are proud of the high-quality subsea sensors of our sister companies Voyis and Sonardyne International Ltd, used in this 3D mapping inspection, along with our own #NaviSuite software for data visualisation. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gNZBDyPH   Nico Vincent from Deep Ocean Search, who developed the technology for the scans, along with Voyis Imaging and McGill University, said the digital replica offers a new way to study the ship. ‘It’s absolutely fabulous. Hydrography | Did you know EIVA works closely with the IHO and hydrographic offices to ensure we keep our software up-to-date with international standards? 🗺 The International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) set up the Hydrographic Surveys Working Group (HSWG) to manage and develop international standards ✅ Ian D., EIVA’s Business Development Manager – Hydrography, is an expert contributor in the HSWG, helping to bridge the industry needs with the development of future #EIVA software and equipment. Membership of this group allows us to engage with experts worldwide to understand issues and emerging requirements and standards, allowing EIVA to develop potential software solutions for use in the wider hydrographic industry.
