Qimera 2.6.3 is released! This release includes the addition of a new Attribute Threshold to the Grid Statistics Tool, which is user defined and provides the resulting number of cells in the grid that meet the user defined threshold. As I disembark from E/V Nautilus, I’m overcome with a huge wave of gratitude for this experience. I’d like to extend a thank you to all the folks at Ocean Exploration Trust, who have cultivated an environment of constant scientific innovation and discussion on this ship. Each person I spoke to had so much knowledge and story to share; it became almost overwhelming how long I could spend learning from you all. Thank you to the crew, who were all incredibly hard working and welcoming to us. I loved becoming friends with you all. Finally, thank you to QPS for sponsoring me to work as a multi-beam surveyor/navigator and work with implementing QINSy into the Nautilus mapping workflow. This was an invaluable experience for me and I hope to be back one day! In total, I transit mapped from Sidney, BC to Honolulu, HI, then to the beautiful Pago Pago, American Samoa 🇦🇸. I’m immensely grateful to have been learning about these cultures onboard, as well as beginning to understand Polynesian celestial navigation and how it shaped their discovery and exploration of the Pacific ocean. Feeling extremely inspired as I head back home to continue technical support with QPS! I’ve included some pictures from my trip, including our equator crossing! What a great time.

Qinsy 9.6.5 is released today with new features & mostly bug fixes. The more important fixes include: - Kongsberg KMALL TCP driver; - Startup of Squire while running Survey Manager. Additionally, we added support for UNIX time in the I/O Driver Editor. This will allow users to create their own driver with such a time format.
