Ved hjælp af Pond Biomaterials innovative løsninger har vi udviklet strømper fremstillet af 98% bio-baserede materialer, som er klar til brug på både hospitaler og i modeindustrien. Vi er stolte af at tage dette skridt og vise, at det er muligt at kombinere funktionalitet med nye innovative materialer, der kan erstatte fossilt plastik. At Pond Biomaterials, we take pride in our product and the properties we have achieved with our bioplastics, which can now be used in many different industries. We are an innovative development company and therefore always work on improving our product even further or strive to give it even more properties. In this regard, we have just started a new project in collaboration with Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen to enhance the compatibility between nanocellulose and bioplastics. The project is supported by #BiosolutionsZealand II, which is funded by the European Union and Danmarks Erhvervsfremmebestyrelse through Food & Bio Cluster Denmark. Innovation and scaling are key to positioning Denmark at the forefront of sustainable biotechnologies and climate solutions. We are proud to announce that we have been selected as finalists in the Hitachi Energy Startup Challenge with SynerLeap 🥳. Hitachi Energy has divided their challenge into two tracks, one concerning transformers and one concerning grid integration. Both tracks are very exciting for us at Pond Biomaterials and we are therefore pleased that they have chosen us as finalists in both tracks. We now look forward to preparing for the final competition in Zurich in two weeks. 🌱A national strategy for biosolutions is an important steppingstone towards the Danish EU presidency in 2025🚀🇪🇺 Biosolutions could become the private sector's greatest single contribution to the green transition. Therefore, the time for a national strategi for biosolutions in Denmark is NOW. This was one out of many points made earlier today at a roundtable on the biosolutions sector’s priorities for a Danish national strategy hosted by Member of the Danish Parliament Charlotte Bagge Hansen , Moderaterne with us at Alliance for Biosolutions. Building a strong national strategy, including improving regulatory frameworks, ensuring access to risk-averse capital, necessary infrastructure and not at least gaining consumer acceptance of the solutions are key priorities for advancing the biosolutions sector💡 With the upcoming Danish EU presidency we have a unique chance to lead the way for the a significant paradigm shift towards regulation that prioritize bio-innovation and sustainable solutions based on biotechnology, acknowledging these as fundamental drivers of industrial competitiveness and green transition.
