Today, Hans Andersen visited Space Inventor’s satellite factory in Aalborg, where CEO Karl Kaas and Director of Government Relations, Martin Vogdrup Olesen, showcased both our military satellites and a selection of prestigious research satellites. Hans Andersen is a Member of the Danish Parliament for the Liberal Party (Venstre, Danmarks Liberale Parti), Finance Spokesperson, and Commissioner for the Danish Home Guard. He brings substantial knowledge and a strong network within high-tech domains such as space, defense, and quantum technologies. Space Inventor is in the final phase of integrating Denmark’s first military satellite, developed to monitor our Arctic territories – with a particular focus on detecting so-called dark ships. We discussed this mission, named #BIFROST, with Hans and emphasized the importance of recognizing Danish space technology as both an industrial and defense capability – not merely a research field. Over the past 10 years, Space Inventor has delivered satellites across much of the world, acting as both prime contractor on complete military solutions and as a partner in large military constellations for several #NATO countries. We are working intensively to ensure that Denmark and the Danish Armed Forces also have the opportunity to build space-based capabilities in support of the sovereignty-enhancing initiatives currently being reinforced. The company is ready to deliver a full-scale solution for comprehensive monitoring of Denmark’s Arctic territories within 12–24 months, through industrial mass production of the BIFROST satellites. In addition to maritime surveillance, the solution will offer highly secure, global communications that are always available and fully independent of ground-based infrastructure. Hvad dækker ”Årets SMV – Direktør” så egentlig over? Tak for snakken Karl Kaas. BIFROST - the Arctic Surveillance Satellite built for the Danish and Swedish armed forces - is undergoing critical vibrations tests at our evironmental test facility. As the satellite will ride into space on a roaring rocket early this summer, it will experience immense loads. Our massive vibration exciter will test the spacecraft beyond these loads to ensure the satellite is built to exceed the rigerous quality demands. These strict requirements to quality are set not only by our internal manufacturing standards but also by the customers relying on the defensive capabilities to be provided for Greenland and the rest of the Scandinavian arctic territories. #SpaceInventor #MicroSatellites #SpaceTech #NewSpace #Greenland

🚀 Did you spot the smallest passenger on yesterday’s Falcon 9 launch? While all eyes were on the Intuitive Machines IM-2 Mission lunar lander beginning its journey to the Moon, another milestone quietly reached space —our second 16U CubeSat to GEO orbit! Launched onboard the recent SpaceX Falcon 9 mission, this compact yet capable satellite proves that even small spacecraft can take on ambitious missions in geostationary orbit. At Space Inventor, we are pushing the boundaries of SmallSat technology, demonstrating their growing potential for complex operations. Stay tuned as we continue redefining what’s possible for small satellites. 🛰️ #newspace #smallsat #cubesat #geo #pushingboundaries
