  • #HotOffThePress ReOrbit has been recognised as one of Finland's 10 most promising startups by the Finnish business media Talouselämä, alongside Distance Technologies, Flow Computing, FinanceKey, Hamina Wireless, Onego Bio, QMill, Realm, Steady Energy and Taito.ai! Beyond this recognition, our story was shared in a dedicated piece by journalist Sanna Pekkonen, who visited our Helsinki headquarters to discuss ReOrbit’s software-first approach to satellite manufacturing, secure communications through space and why Finland is the perfect place to build the largest satellite factory in the Nordics. “ReOrbit’s satellites will be built in the same halls where Ford and Thames trucks were assembled. If one seeks a comparison from the automotive world for ReOrbit, it would be Tesla rather than Ford as it is designed software first,” explains ReOrbit’s CEO & Founder Sethu Saveda Suvanam. Thank you Sanna, for sharing our story and Joel Maisalmi for the photographs! The full Talouselämä article (in Finnish, behind paywall) can be found here: https://lnkd.in/dwXwADzK

  • It was truly an honour to co-organise the Space Collaboration Industry Seminar for NATO’s Defence of the High North and Arctic Region alongside ICEYE, in collaboration with leading Nordic space companies. The event, supported by the Finnish Ministry of Defence, brought together high level decision-makers and experts from the Nordic and NATO space industries, government, and defence sectors. The seminar explored critical topics, including the role of space in defending NATO’s Northern Flank and the Arctic, Nordic industrial cooperation for space capabilities, and the intersection of military and civilian resilience needs in the region. A heartfelt thank you to all the experts and leaders who joined us. Space domain is a force multiplier for our joint defence and deterrence. Together, we’re building the future of defence and space innovation! Sethu Saveda Suvanam Mina Rajabi Ville Meskus Srinath Logasubramanian Ernst Wehtje Markus Räikkönen
