And the winner is...   On November 6, 2024, the winners of the prestigious German-Danish Business Awards 2024, organized by the Dansk-Tysk Handelskammer (Danish-German Chamber of Commerce), were announced.   Congratulations to the winners!   This years “Newcomer of the year” was Innargi The winner as a Danish company of the year was Coloplast. Let's wheel back to one month ago, when our partner TEGnology ApS hosted our Industrial Workshop "Restructuring the EU Value Chain on Thermoelectrics - From supply chain to end user" on 26th September, at the Copenhagen airport. Many interested people gathered there for interesting presentations, discussions, and networking. A pleasure to attend German-Danish Chamber of Commerce event on entrepreneurship and the start-up environment in Hamburg and Copenhagen last night.   Along with my colleague from Baker Tilly Germany Philip Koch, we enjoyed interesting pitches from start-ups/scale-up companies:   TEGnology ApS which turns heat into electricity (not quite as cool as turning water into wine, but close) Waitly who solves waiting list admin once and for all, and Worthmore, which provides cell phone subscriptions at a fraction of what major players charge because they acquire customers through influencers. 1/3 of profits goes to charity.   The picture is from the panel discussion at the German embassy in Nordhavn, Denmark. If you have ever been to "Borgerservice", you will have encountered products from at least two of the panel participants.
