Viggo turns 5 - 100% electric since 2019🔌🎂 This week, we are celebrating Viggo’s 5 year anniversary and it’s been quite the ride. In five years, we’ve managed to take Viggo from industry oddball to third-largest in Denmark, while proving that it is possible to operate a fleet of electric cars exclusively. Something that many people thought impossible when we started🤷♀️. We are still the only company with 100% electric cars in the fleet, but our competitors are also transitioning towards electric mobility and we proudly believe that we have played a part in speeding up this process by showing that it can be done. 5 years in, here’s some of our achievements🏆. 330 cars in the Viggo fleet 430.000 app users +2,2 mio trips driven +1,400 tonnes CO2 emitted +1,865 tonnes CO2 suppressed in comparison with fossil cars Now we dive into year 6 and we are determined to make it a prosperous one! #hereviggo #viggotogether

Meet Tom, our Head of Real Estate for ViggoEnergy, who’s celebrating one year of working at Viggo this month! ⚡ One thing to know about Tom is that he has a network that could get you into Fort Knox. Name a person. Tom knows them. Name a company. Tom knows someone there. Usually some higher-ups. About 80% of his sentences starts with. "Ohh him. He's an old friend of mine." "That guy. I used to play football with." Tom knows everyone, so we figured it was time to get to know Tom. We’ve asked him some questions to get to know him better, and here’s what he answered: 🔍 🌱Why did you choose Viggo? I've joined Viggo to help both private and professional drivers transition to electric vehicles. I’m excited to contribute to building the best urban ultra-fast charging network! 😊 🌱What do you like to do in your free time? When I have free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, riding mountain bikes in the woods, and occasionally going to the gym. I’m also looking forward to the start of winter bathing season so I can jump into the sea and then warm up in a sauna every weekend. 🥶 🌱If you could swap jobs with anyone for a day, who would it be and why? I think I’d like to swap jobs with Kamala Harris - I have some great ideas about her tasks and goals for the future. 💼 🌱What’s one thing your coworkers might not know about you? I was born in Sweden and speak Swedish. 🇸🇪 🌱What do you love most about working with Team Viggo? Viggo has a positive spirit and a sense of joy, with all colleagues determined to make a difference. I also love that we’re all united by a common goal, which is the green transition. ♻️

Verdens Bedste Nyheder på hjul🛞📰 I fredags og hele weekenden havde vi allieret os med World's Best News på Verdens Bedste Morgen. Fra Viggo-bilerne uddelte vi den fysiske udgave af Verdens Bedste Nyheder-avisen, som kun udkommer en gang om året. Verdens Bedste Nyheder har dedikeret deres spalter til at fortælle gode nyheder fra hele verden, og hos Viggo vil vi gerne bidrage til at få disse længere ud. Det er ikke fordi, vi vil lukke øjnene for krig, katastrofer og fordærv - det er bestemt også vigtige nyheder - det er bare som om det er dækket i rigelig grad i andre medier. 4 years of Pride🏳️🌈 On Saturday, we walked in the Copenhagen Pride parade, which marked the fourth time for Viggo as official Pride partner. It was a pleasure seeing so many happy faces, gathering up to celebrate diversity.

400.000❗🤯 Yesterday, we reached a massive milestone, when Viggo app-user number 400.000 signed up. It’s a crazy big number and what makes it even more wild is the fact that it was only in January that we crossed the 300k-mark🏁. Since then it has been an internal goal to reach 400k app-users by the end of 2024, but to get there by mid-August is even better than we had hoped for! A big thank you to user #1. A big thank you to user #400000. And a big thank you to all users in between and all the users to come🫶 Now the hunt for 500k begins! Here Viggo🚕🔋

We just killed off the most used ViggoBusiness product…💀🪦 Earlier this week we took our browser-based B2B- booking system Fleet Commander out of commish❌. It was the system most used by our business clients to make bookings, but it had also turned into a legacy solution with limited functionality and very limited prospect for future development. We’ve always known the day would come, seeing as Fleet Commander was originally developed as a short term internal tool to book and pre-book multiple Viggos per request or in relation to specific events. Somewhere along the way it just so happened that we ended up rolling it out to many of the businesses we work with. But Viggo, won’t your business customers miss Fleet Commander? Sure, if they have a preference for DOS-like aesthetics💾👴, but other than that, no. We are replacing Fleet Commander with the ViggoBooker, which offers the same functionalities but with more features and a much more seamless and enjoyable user experience. In fact, we are sure that ViggoBooker will add much more value to our customers. Now and especially in the future. The future part is important, because the biggest problem with Fleet Commander was that it was close-to impossible to develop new features. With ViggoBooker we now have a solution that is not only better, but also one we can develop and optimise with new features. Bye bye Fleet Commander.
