At We Are Entrepreneurs, we’re dedicated to teaching entrepreneurship to adults, but it’s always refreshing to see how these skills are nurtured from an early age here in Denmark. Today, Diana had the pleasure of being a judge at a high school biotech pitching session, where students presented innovative solutions focused on probiotics, food waste reduction, and healthy eating. It’s an honor to participate in these events each year, witnessing firsthand how creative and resourceful these young minds are. It's not just about learning science or business – it's about learning how to think critically, solve problems, and innovate. As we know, entrepreneurship is increasingly becoming a viable career path, especially with the rise of the gig economy and the evolving job market. In fact, statistics show that nearly 30% of the global workforce is involved in the gig economy, and many are starting their entrepreneurial journeys earlier than ever before. The economic and social landscape is shifting, and with it, the likelihood of more individuals pursuing entrepreneurship continues to grow. We’re thrilled to play a small part in helping foster these essential skills and to interact with the future innovators and business leaders of Denmark each year. Here’s to more inspiring moments, both in the classroom and beyond! A shout out to Fonden for Entreprenørskab - Sjælland and NEXT - UDDANNELSE KØBENHAVN for making it happen. What an amazing day at Next Pitch at NEXT - UDDANNELSE KØBENHAVN Enghøj Campus! 🌟 Today, I had the pleasure of watching some incredible high school biotech students pitch their creative business ideas. Their energy, passion, and innovative thinking truly blew me away. These young minds are shaping the future of gut health, and it's inspiring to see them tackle real (and sometimes imaginary) problems with such enthusiasm. A special shout-out to the Handelsskolen profile class for their fantastic ideas around food waste and healthy eating! They explored some seriously cool technology, like product scanners for freshness and recipe generators — paving the way for smarter, more sustainable choices in the kitchen. 👏 It was inspiring to see the inventive ways they’re thinking about improving how we eat and reduce waste. A big thanks to all the students, teachers, and everyone involved for working so hard to bring entrepreneurial thinking into technical subjects. It’s no small feat to turn complex science into practical solutions — but these future biotech leaders are already on it! Care to guess what the products were? 👇 - Probibite - Proenergy - Profraiche - Prodip You can tell their gut is leading them in the right direction 😉! Here’s to more days of seeing young minds apply their knowledge in such creative ways! These images are copyright protected. Thank you Fonden for Entreprenørskab - Sjælland for supporting this initiative and for the invitation to participate. I have a blast each year. Christian Greve Lars Pinholt Maybrit Christensen

  • 💁🏻♀️ New rubric alert: Entrepreneurs answering questions for entrepreneurs. “What are some self-care tips for busy entrepreneurs?” Zayana Pompaeva, mindful growth coach, European Project manager, trainer: “My number 1 tip is to plan your leisure and resourceful activities first! Every Sunday evening I am planning my next week. Open Google calendar, reflect on how I want to take care of myself this week. I block time for that activities 1st thing in the calendar. And then plan everything else: family, work, meeting etc. Especially if the week is going to be busy! This way I start my week knowing that I am taken care off”. #entrepreneurship #selfcare #entrepreneurssupportentrepreneurs #weareentrepreneurs

  • 🎊 We just wrapped up another insightful workshop yesterday, deep diving into how Danish banks think and tips for entrepreneurs struggling to open a bank account in Denmark 🏦. Marie Birna Olafsdottir, founder of Finklusiv , shared her expertise, having helped over 125 businesses open accounts here. 💡𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 ❎ 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲: Over 60 percent of entrepreneurs feel that Danish banks don't see them as ‘good customers’. ❓ 𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 - 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 ‘𝘄𝗵𝘆?’: Danish banks are highly regulated to prevent economic criminality and money laundering. Small businesses and expats can often be considered high risk. ✅ 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Build trust with the bank by being transparent about your identity, financial history, business plan, financial projections and business transactions. 🗣 The session wrapped up with a Q&A where Marie answered all those burning questions! Missed it? No worries, we are planning to put together another workshop around the same theme soon. Want to stay in the loop for future events? • 🤗 A big thank you to everyone who joined our ‘colourful’ Branding Mastery workshop! 🌈 🎤 Our speaker Zayana Pompaeva delved deep into the power of colours—how they shape perceptions, evoke emotions, and amplify brand recognition. 💡 Key Takeaways: ✅ 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿: Colours are more than just visuals; they’re powerful tools to communicate your brand’s message. For example, red signifies energy and urgency, making it a popular choice for fast-food brands, while green embodies freshness and growth, ideal for eco-friendly businesses. ✅ 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀: Identify your company’s core values and select colours that reflect them authentically. ✅ 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲:Danish consumers value minimalism and practicality. Ensure your brand colours resonate with these cultural traits. ✅ 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗞𝗲𝘆: Use consistent colours across all brand touchpoints to reinforce your brand identity. 📢🏦💵 We’re excited to announce that our next workshop will focus on banking for small businesses.
