Three ways to link EPF UAN with Aadhaar

There are three way to link UAN to Aadhaar, provided the UAN is active:
Using UMANG App
Using OTP Verification on e-KYC Portal of EPFO
Offline submission

EPFO has introduced UAN-Aadhaar linking facility for the convenience of members using EPFO Link on the UMANG mobile app.

Here are the steps for linking UAN to Aadhaar using the UMANG App:
1. Input your UAN
2. An OTP will be sent to the UAN registered mobile number
3. After OTP verification, input Aadhaar details
4. Another OTP will be sent on Aadhaar registered mobile number and email

Step 1: Visit e-sewa website and log in to your EPF account using the UAN login credentials.

Step 2: Click on the KYC option under the ‘manage’ menu.

Step 4: Select Aadhaar and enter your Aadhaar details.

Step 5: Click on save.

Step 6: Your Aadhaar will be validated using UIDAI data.

Step 7: After successful completion of KYC, the Aadhaar will be linked to the EPF account.

If you want to link your Aadhaar with your EPF account offline, you must be physically present at one of the EPFO's branches or Common Service Centres. Your application and a self-attested photocopy of your Aadhaar card must be delivered in person.
