Time to share some good news 👏 MyDello managed to beat its own expectations this summer, exceeding our goals in most of our key metrics.   Whilst summer is usually the slow season, this year we managed to beat the slump. In July we even broke the all-time gross profit record. Looking at the past three summer months as a whole, we can be very proud of the picture.   This is the result of all the hard work our team has put in and I couldn’t be prouder of us. Thank you! 🎉   And as everyone likes numbers, here are some interesting tidbits:   📍 We’ve now shipped goods to/from more than 110 countries 📍 We have customers in 30+ countries 📍 Our lightest shipment so far weighed 90 grams (electrical components) 📍 Our heaviest shipment so far weighed 563 000 kilograms (metal parts)

A few years ago, I decided to memorize 100 digits of pi (π). I thought it would be fun to challenge people by saying, "Want to bet that I can name all 100 digits?"   It was not the most useful skill, but at that moment, I realized I have strong determination. 🍿Which movie or TV show best represents your workday at MyDello and why? The TV show Friends best represents my workday at MyDello. Just like the iconic group at Central Perk, our team is always there to support each other, share laughs, and tackle challenges together. Our office environment is full of humour, making every day enjoyable and productive. 🦸♂️ If MyDello were a superhero team, what would your superpower be? If MyDello were a superhero team, my superpower would be "Efficiency Master." This power enables me to instantly streamline any process, eliminate bottlenecks, and ensure everything runs at peak performance. I can foresee potential operational issues and resolve them in the blink of an eye. 🤫 What's the secret ingredient to MyDello's disruptive success that only you know? The secret ingredient to MyDello's disruptive success is team spirit. Our standout factor is how we uplift and empower each other; mutual encouragement fuels our innovation and drives our success. Trains, planes, and automobiles… and ships! ✈️🚢🚚   Choosing the right mode of transport for your business isn’t just about getting goods from point A to point B — it’s about finding the best fit for your needs and a balance between several competing factors.   So what should you consider?   🔹 Speed vs. Volume 🔹   📍Air Freight: The fastest option, ideal for urgent deliveries. Did you know a Boeing 747 can fly up to 920 km/h? But speed comes with a trade-off — airplanes can’t carry the massive volumes that ships or trucks can. 📍Sea Freight: Handles over 90% of global trade by volume, but it can take weeks to reach its destination. 📍Road Freight: Great for short to medium distances, offering flexibility in delivery but can’t match the speed of air freight. 📍Rail Freight: Balances speed and volume. However, it’s worth it for high-value or time-sensitive goods. Air freight moves over 35% of global trade by value despite being less than 1% by volume. 📍Sea Freight: The most cost-effective for large volumes and heavy goods, but with longer transit times. 📍Road Freight: Cost-effective for regional deliveries, but costs rise with distance. 📍Rail Freight: Generally more affordable than air and faster than sea, rail is perfect for bulk goods and long-haul domestic transport.   🔹 Environmental Impact 🔹   📍Air Freight: Highest carbon footprint per ton of cargo due to fuel consumption. However, advances in aviation technology are gradually reducing emissions. 📍Sea Freight: Lower emissions per ton than air freight, but ships still contribute significantly to global CO2 emissions due to sheer scale. 📍Road Freight: Emissions vary but tend to be higher per ton than rail, especially over long distances. 📍Rail Freight: One of the most environmentally friendly options, with lower emissions per ton-mile than road or air.   🔹 Reliability and Reach 🔹   📍Air Freight: Highly reliable with strict schedules, ideal for international and remote locations. Air cargo hubs are typically well-connected, but last-mile delivery can require additional modes. 📍Sea Freight: Reliable for international trade, but weather and port congestion can cause delays. 📍Road Freight: Offers unmatched last-mile connectivity, getting goods directly to the door. However, traffic, road conditions, and regulations can affect reliability. 📍Rail Freight: Very reliable for scheduled long-haul routes, especially across continents or large countries. 👥 Meet our team member, Kristjan Teär. He is our Account Manager. We asked him four questions to get to know him better: 👽If you could ship one thing to space with MyDello, what would it be and why? I would ship one of the Vanishing Cabinets from the Harry Potter franchise to the space. Imagine how smooth the transport would be between space and Earth after that. Stick the MyDello logo on it and to the moon! 🦸♂️ If MyDello were a superhero team, what would your superpower be? Super-speed, with the ability to transport any kind of goods super fast across the world without any issues. We can avoid all the terminal handling, etc. Imagine this kind of fast service all under MyDello's control. It would be one of a kind! 🤝 What's the most "MyDello" thing you've done? I control my home from my phone. Everything is in one place, including the home appliances—basically, one thing to "rule" them all. It's the same as MyDello; you have one tool to handle everything related to your logistics needs. 🏓 What's your go-to productivity hack that keeps the logistics world spinning? We have team-building activities to build the team as one. Usually, it is sports-related, which builds our teamwork, and if there is teamwork, there is productivity. One thing that helps to improve productivity in our office is the ping pong table. A quick game in a day keeps unproductivity away! 

🤔⛴️ What could you fit inside a shipping container if you really-really tried?    We’ve all seen containers, but have you ever thought about what they could actually fit if you perhaps went a little… mad?   Well, we’ve done the math!
