Why Chat GPT is loosing users, but Open AI doesn’t? The answer is not the supremacy of the other models, because at this point the difference between models performance is not significant. The answer is - collective tolerance to Chat GPT response style. People are just bored of the same long responses and it has more significant impact than you think. Open AI knows it and they are just fine with that. Because the future of Open AI is not Chat GPT app itself, it is the api that they provide for businesses. No one would be able to surpass them in the balance of the model’s performance, pricing cost and stability of the services, for years. Users would continue to prefer other apps that are powered by Open AI’s apis over Chat GPT, because these apps would be better tailored for user’s needs and would feel more personal and different from Chat GPT responses. Considering those app’s providers would do a good job integrating Open AI’s apis to make it feel personal. People prefer Thera, because the feeling of a personal connection is especially important in mental health apps.
