🥈 Silver for Estonia in the Global Chefs Challenge! The finals of the Global Chefs Challenge, organized by Worldchefs - World Association of Chefs' Societies, was held in Singapore from the 22 - 25 October. Over the 4 days of fierce competition, Estonia was represented by Ivan Derizemlja and assisted by Aljona Koch 🇪🇪 👨🍳 👩🍳 Chef Ivan, Estonian Chef of the Year 2021, and Chef Aljona prepared a four course meal served to a panel of distinguished jury, and came out of the challenge 11th out of 16 competitors, earning the silver medal. Ambassador Priit Turk and Team Estonia were glad to come by Singapore EXPO to support our chefs, and are happy for the two to fly the Estonia flag high on the world culinary stage. 🌟 Taste Estonia Taigo Lepik #culinary #competition

Introducing #Estonia to Singapore through food!😋 Last night, the Estonian Embassy in Singapore hosted a dinner tasting of Estonian cuisine, with the menu prepared by acclaimed chefs from home: 👨🍳 Taigo Lepik, Head Chef at the Office of the President of Estonia 👩🍳 Cätlyn Priks, Sous Chef at Fotografiska Tallinn 👨🍳 Emmanuel Wille , Head Chef at Olde Hansa 👩🍳 Aljona Koch, Chef at Farm Restaurant 👨🍳 Ivan Derizemlja, Head Chef at RONDEAU by ID The menu was inspired by the 4 seasons experienced at home - Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter - with fresh ingredients flown from Estonia. 🍄 On top of the dinner, CEO Sven Lõokene of Travel Agency Reisiekspert shared more about different aspects of the country. From Europe to Asia, Saku is taking its classic brews on an exciting global #adventure, sharing Estonia’s beer culture far and wide. This year, the brewery has added Malta, Romania, and Japan (with a population of 125 million) as new export destinations. As Saku’s head of exports Margus Masing explains, “Our cooperation with Japan began at last spring’s Foodex Japan 2023 trade fair. When we were asked to make a refreshing non-alcoholic drink for previous world nr 2 tennis player 🎾 Anett Kontaveit's premiere party, we immediately liked the idea because MULL° supports and loves awesome women 😍 And the fact is that Anett Kontaveit, who became the second racket in the world, inspired many women to reach higher and dream big. Anett last year in top sport can be seen in Kaupo Kruusiauk new documentary "ANETT", which is in cinemas all over Estonia as from today. We recommend!
