Become part of the agricultural revolution that connects people with the origin of their food.

We just launched the "member get member" feature (beta). It's been in the backlog since the beginning of time. Is there anyone in my network who can share what the key metrics for this feature are, so we can know if we've built a solid process? If you come with actual metrics from another e-commerce or marketplace, I'll gift you a box of clementines. For those who want to try the MVP and give me feedback, here's the link: https://lnkd.in/dCz9dhcp Thanks!

Our Farmer Hunting Spain team met at our office in Madrid Led by Juan Plasencia Álvarez, this team of agronomists operates primarily along the Mediterranean coast and southern Spain. They are responsible for managing projects together with our farmers, with the common goal of creating a more sustainable food supply chain. Our colleagues Javi Ruiz, José Ramón, Vidal, and Rocío manage projects related to #tropiterraean crops, while Javi Tornos, Ferrán, and Ignacio focus on the development of citrus and other mediterranean crops. Last week, the team gathered at our offices in Madrid to discuss the strategy for the upcoming citrus season, analyze the current tropical fruit campaign, and define the necessary action plans. Additionally, they took the opportunity to review the planning for next year’s stone fruit season.

If we want to protect the future of farming — and our business — we must take care of our soils. Healthy soils are essential for nourishing food, resilient crops, and the long-term viability of farming. That’s why we’re proud to launch our biggest initiative yet: 1% for the Soil. Through this initiative, we’re dedicating 1% of all revenues generated by regenerative farms to transform 10,000 hectares of European farmland into regenerative-organic systems. Learn more via the link in the comments! #regenerativeagriculture #healthysoils #farmtotable

We are committed to continue training our staff on sustainability topics! 🌍Last Friday, we launched our Climate Fresk cycle within CrowdFarming. 🤝A few months ago, we offered to some of our employees to be trained and become Fresk facilitators: they can now lead these Fresks and help their colleagues understand the cause-consequence relationships in the climate change our planet is currently experiencing. 🤓We too believe that sharing knowledge is key to making the most appropriate decisions, both from an individual and collective perspective. This is also why we do our best to inform our CrowdFarmers about life in the fields, to strengthen the bonds with the farmers that feed us. Thanks to the Sustainability team (Cristina Domecq, Emilia Aguirre and Fran Aparicio) and Damien Cuenot for conducting the training workshop. #Sustainability #Agriculture

It's official: "1% for the soil" is now live! At CrowdFarming, we’ve always believed in changing the future of farming for the better. From the start, our mission has been to connect organic farmers directly with consumers, helping them sell their produce in a fair and sustainable way. But as climate change accelerates, our farmers are facing more challenges than ever — on top of the unfair system they currently have to work with, the increasing uncertainty around weather patterns are putting their livelihoods and our food systems at risk. We knew we couldn’t sit idly by. If we want to protect the future of farming — and our business — , we must act now. And quite frankly, we’ve had enough of not enough. We’ve talked, we’ve listened, and we’ve bottled our frustration towards something positive, the start of a solution. That’s why we’re proud to launch our biggest initiative yet: 1% for the Soil. Why 1% for the Soil? The answer is simple: soil is the foundation of everything. Healthy soils are essential for nourishing food, resilient crops, and the long-term viability of farming. But the way we’ve been treating our land for decades is taking a toll. It’s time to move away from practices that deplete the soil and instead embrace regenerative agriculture — a method that not only sustains but actively revitalises — regenerates — the ecosystems that feed us. Curious as to how we are going to make this happen? Read more about the project in our blog!
