⚛️ Trillo Nuclear Power Plant begins its 37th Refueling Outage 🔋 After an operational cycle without automatic reactor shutdowns or workplace accidents, and over 725 days and 3 million hours worked accident-free, the plant continues demonstrating its reliability and safety. ⚙️ Over the 33-day outage, 14,500 work orders throughout the plant in which EAG will participate will be carried out, including strategic equipment maintenance. Additionally, 16 design modifications will be implemented to enhance the facility's safety, reliability, and modernization ⚡ Trillo NPP supplies 3% of Spain’s annual electricity demand, generating 7,676 GWh in 2024 and preventing the emission of over 2.5 million tons of CO₂, reinforcing its role in a low-carbon energy future. #SomosEAG #WeAreEAG #Energy #Engineering #EAGengineering #Nuclear #NuclearEnergy #Refueling #Trillo

⚙️ At EAG (Empresarios Agrupados - GHESA), we are proud to have contributed to the Technical and Economic Feasibility Study for a groundbreaking pilot plant (16 MW) in Burgos, under the #CIUDEN Project. 🌱 This project focuses on pulverized coal and circulating fluidized bed boilers, alongside compression and purification units, and a transport and geological storage center.
