Diffblue, creators of the world’s first fully autonomous generative AI-for-code software, announced it has secured €5.8 million in new capital 🇬🇧💡 Diffblue’s new and oversubscribed round of funding was anchored by existing investors IP Group plc, Parkwalk Advisors, and AlbionVC, with additional participation from Oxford University, and private investors via the Oxford Technology and Innovations EIS Fund (OTIF). Toffer Winslow, CEO at Diffblue, added: “Diffblue’s deterministic AI technology, committed employees, blue chip customers, and visionary investors are a rare and enviable foundation on which a great company can be built.”

SynOx Therapeutics, a late clinical-stage biopharma company developing a novel treatment for CSF-1 related and macrophage-driven disorders, announced additional funding in a final close of its Series B financing 🇮🇪🔬 The Series B extension was led by new investor Gilde Healthcare and brings the total capital raised by SynOx in the round to €84.8 million including earlier investments from Forbion, HealthCap and Bioqube Ventures. “We are pleased to add Gilde Healthcare to our impressive investor syndicate and are appreciative for their support of our team and our vision for the potential of emactuzumab to address the unmet needs, and improve the quality of life, of TGCT patients around the world,” said Raymond Barlow, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer of SynOx.

Bendi, an AI-driven platform that helps businesses manage and mitigate business disruption, sustainability challenges and reputational risks in their supply chains, has announced it has raised €960k in pre-seed funding 🇬🇧 🛳 Led by Birmingham-based VC Midven, part of the global Future Planet Capital fund, the round was also participated in by HEARTFELT_ Capital in Berlin, Chasing Rainbows in San Francisco, as well as angels and Innovate UK. CEO Mandeep Soor said: “As global supply chains become more complex, the tools to ensure transparency, resilience and sustainability are no longer a nice-to-have, they’re becoming a licence to operate. Our mission is to empower companies to take responsible actions and strengthen their supply chains with ease and efficiency.”
