🌟 Building and Iterating for Unconventional Collaborations 🌟 How can a company convince another from a different industry that #collaboration is worth exploring? Ferrovial provides a compelling example. Instead of waiting for a traditional partnership approach, they proactively leveraged open-source software and Salesforce’s APIs to experiment and iterate solutions for a new #functional need. Once they had a working concept, they approached Salesforce—not just with an idea, but with tangible proof of its #potential. 🔍 As Dimitris Bountolos, CIIO of Ferrovial, explains: "When you are interacting with an ecosystem that is open—using APIs, open source, and development frameworks—you can make a few iterations to evolve the vision into something tangible. After that, we proactively approached Salesforce, convinced that their platform could be a natural fit for asset management. In turn, they identified an opportunity we hadn't considered: repurposing their platform to enter a completely new vertical, potentially unlocking a new revenue stream."
