Define the WEFE Nexus: we need your input! Since the 2011 Bonn Conference, defining the WEFE Nexus has remained a challenge—multiple definitions exist, but no single, universally accepted one. This lack of clarity makes implementation across disciplines difficult. How do you define the Nexus? Ahead of the Dresden Nexus Conference (DNC 2025) this April, PRIMA and UNU- FLORES are gathering insights to define a clear and actionable Nexus framework. LIVE NOW: The Wefe4med Info Day is in full swing! Antonella Autino launched the Info Day, recalling that: "Scientific evidence alone is not enough to drive systemic change. To bridge the gap between concept and implementation, we must align policy frameworks, scale financing mechanisms, and strengthen capacity-building across governments and society. That is precisely the purpose of today’s WEFE4MED Info Day: to exchange knowledge, forge new partnerships, and accelerate the replication of proven WEFE solutions." The Wefe4med PRIMA project has created and launched the very first Community of Practice (CoP) for the Nexus, connecting professionals to solve Water, Energy, Food, and Ecosystem challenges in the Mediterranean region. 🤝 Exciting News! The PRIMA project CYCOLIVE has formed a synergy with the NEXUSNET Cost Action, leading to the creation of an STSM position specifically for young researchers! 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆-𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 (𝗪𝗘𝗙) 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘂𝘀: 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 & 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀! The NEXUSNET Cost Action (CA20138) is an international research network dedicated to integrating the 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆-𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 (𝗪𝗘𝗙) 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘂𝘀 into policy and practice. By bringing together researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders, 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘂𝘀𝗡𝗲𝘁 enhances sustainability, promotes resource efficiency, and supports Europe’s transition to a circular and low-carbon economy. The network tests Nexus-based solutions at different scales, facilitates knowledge exchange, and develops policies that improve job creation, environmental sustainability, and well-being. Through engagement with stakeholders and active projects like 𝗖𝗬𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘 (focuses on transforming olive mill wastewater and olive pomace into valuable resources), NexusNet is translating scientific insights into practical solutions for real-world challenges. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟭𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁-𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻!
